Hi mates, just to share with you all that today I managed to top-up 2k into my ASM.

6 transactions in total : RM100, RM400, RM450, RM50 (first 1k) RM450 and RM550 (subsequent 1k).

I actually short RM100 during the first 1k transaction and I asked to onhold and rush to ATM machine. Pressed another number and waited for another turn to get the next 1k.

I knew I was lucky today and the satisfaction is really great after failed for the last few visits. So, good luck to all of us and keep trying whenever you have time to drop by.  nod.gif

I went on Tues as well. KOSONG for me. Looks like you snatched all the ASM before I tried my luck.

Next time, please leave some for me. Ha.

So much effort just to get rm2k. Hard to get so treasure it. I am very  thankful that I bought AS1M when few people wanted it and have never sold a single unit.
*
Yes, now regretting my in-action when AS1M was released.

My fear was it was a BIG fund at RM10 billion. Worry that the size might limit its return. Ha.

Wah, now you must be laughing all the way to the bank/ASNB. Ha.

i got some ASW .

Though my success rate in getting the ASX is already bad, getting ASW for me is right at the bottom of my strike ladder.

Now seeing your multiple strikes makes me wonder what am I doing wrong?

Better timing? Better and helpful staff? Nicer and smiling face (you) at the counter? ???

Thanks for the info, it seems i still have to wait long time...hahaha...Initially I thought it was 1st April since I received my ASM dividend on this date  brows.gif

Well, managed to top up another RM850 just now

RM100 + RM 100 + RM 100 + RM450 + RM100, I met the helpful employee who willing to try multiple time for me, it really depends on luck  rclxms.gif

You sure have a $ angel helping you! Ha.

It was a very disappointing and frustrating day for me today. Thought it was a good idea to do a few things (7 of them) in one go when I went to town but it back fired on me. vmad.gif

1. Went to a bank after lunch but it was not open until 1:45 pm for the Friday prayer. So waited for about 30 mins there. Second surprise was they did not have enough RM50s for my FD withdrawal (now don't jump the gun, not a lot lah, only XX,000). Waited for another 30 mins for them to sort this out.

2. Went to another bank to withdraw and the bank was packed. Did not bring my Priority Banking card but managed to jump queue after talking to the officer there. rclxm9.gif

3. Went to a bank to try my luck on the ASX. After my number was called, went to the counter and the teller told me to find a seat and wait. He called me back after some 3 mins only to tell me that no units were available. Don't really know whether he checked or not. One MB staff is considerate enough to show me the screen when he checked for units. Others do it behind "curtains". Ha. hmm.gif

4. Got a parking fine on my return form the bank. I was only 5 mins past my ticket time! Now I will have to pay for the fine! Adding salt to my injury! rclxub.gif

Learning for me is to avoid going to the banks on Fri (too many people and especially so being at the end of the month). And avoid doing too many things in one trip to town!

Cheerio.

hi, i'm as1m holder (non-bumi) and would like to try m2u for more investment. Can you let me know if this is feasible? I heard that it's fully subscribed.

i'm pbb user. Will open maybank account just for this if it works.
*
Mentioned before in the thread that non bumi portions have been fully subscribed and thus not available.

Some of us here go to banks, PO, ASNB to buy, to try our luck, hoping that there will be some non bumi selling his/hers when they check the system.

Yes, can try the PO.

From my many trips, I find the PO staff are more helpful and patient than bank staff in helping to get the available units.

No offence to the bank staff if there are some here in this forum.

Last yr ASM declared 6.5 + 0.3 dividend
Wat is d estimated dividend for dis yr?

I have not looked at ASM numbers in detail.

My guess is 0.1-0.3 better than last year. Why? EPF has done better than 2012. ASM should do better with a smaller fund size than EPF. Of course, they are not 100% identical in their operation, performance.

Just hope no unpleasant global economic news this month as that will reduce the final % (save some for next year line of thinking).

Many thanks to Mdm Chan of CIMB and the person who sold his/her ASM units. Ha.

Hope for more of this.

What baffle me is why people withdraw when divvy is just less than 1mth (1st Apr), wasted 1 year u know  hmm.gif  rclxub.gif

I think the dividend is calculated monthly. Thus loosing out from March onward.

I am new to this ASX and I may be wrong. Ha.

I checked out CIMBclicks and maybank2u and realized that it stated that we are able to top up or I vestment using their service.

My question now is, if a non bumi sells their units, I could try getting it online right ?
*
I have checked with a few banks with the internet top up and replies were the same, only for bumi top-up. Non bumi not active as all the units have been taken up.

When I started joining this ASX forum, I contacted ASNB to ask whether the purchase amount must match EXACTLY the available for sale amount, reply was, the purchase would be successful when the purchase amount was equal to or less than the available amount for sale.

E.g. if available units for sale = RM1500, you put in a purchase for RM1000, you will get it. Same with if the purchase amount is RM10, RM888, RM1499 or RM1500.

Cheerio.

700 for today top-up  icon_rolleyes.gif

RM100 + RM450 + RM100 + RM50

I noticed that most of the time the staff have to try multiple times before those units start coming in, and when there is unit available within another minutes, other units are coming...just my personal experience so far  rolleyes.gif

Congratulations!

Which one?

When?

I went to ASNB at about 230 pm. KOSONG for me. cry.gif
