Hi guys,

I have been reading up about this PNB schemes and I have a rough idea how it works.
Realized that non bumis cant invest in all accounts.
My question now is that which account should I open up now as I'm pretty interested in investing in this fund.

Managed to open up an ASM account and got a few hundred units.

Maybank, so would i get my interest this coming March or would it only start next year ?

What happens if i manage to open up an AS1M account by this month for example, would i be able to get my calculated interest from April 2014 to September 2014 ?

Yup, I'm aware of the non bumi quota being separated into 3 groups which are Chinese, Indians and Others. Thanks for your help guys.

Want to know the most annoying thing that happened ? Went to Maybank today and the staff immediately said that the quota were full and didn't allow me to try to open any new ASX accounts.

Im planning to get more units but damn, having to line up and then getting to know that there isn't anything available when its your turn to the counter is sick.

Is it possible for me to know if there's any units available rather having to go to the bank/agents to check ?

Went to Maybank twice and CIMB once today and they didn't have any available units

I checked out CIMBclicks and maybank2u and realized that it stated that we are able to top up or I vestment using their service.

My question now is, if a non bumi sells their units, I could try getting it online right ?

Indeed, thats the same issue that I'm facing. Went down 3 times to check today and couldn't get anything!!! They should just launch a new fund and things would be easier

Guys, need your help about amanah saham wawasan 2020.
Read on PNBs website that the allocation for this fund is 51% for bumis and 49% for non-bumis.

My question now is, is this 49% of non bumi further broken down to let's say maybe 30% Chinese, 10% Indians an others ?

Because if its only stated as 49% for non-bumis as a total without breaking it down future into class sizes, then we non-bumis should have a higher chance to top up our units on a daily basis rather than having a limitation of just 15% or stuffs like that.

So I guess my chance to open an account under that find should be easier.

Have you purchase any variable price funds ?

Tried to top up my account and couldn't sadly.

Managed to top up my account during lunch.

I'm doing my internship in a company that's beside maybank and Cimb haha
