Hi,

Want to ask everyone here.
Is it possible if I put RM20k lump sum in ASB and I would like to withdraw it for example 15k after 2 year. Can this be done?

Quite new in this sweat.gif

Thanks

Not only i go to the asnb home branch, i went to post office, and some banks as well..

they said to me.. ''why take the hassle to try open the account and always try bank in for the fixed price unit trust if you can earn better returns in our ASG''..

MBB even backfire by saying ..''you see ASG returns so good.. next time when you come, just find me..''.

u should have said that people love steady and continuous income inflow, there is why PNB fixed funds are very welcome by all Malaysian esp non-bumi biggrin.gif

if your ASB is not 200k yet, then should be okay to deposit 20k lump sum. u can withdraw ANYTIME of the year except when ASB suspended for dividend calculation (normally last week of the year). u shall get dividend reinvested into your account on 1st Jan every year..

I'm not sure if u could get 25k for ASW2020, but for AS1M confirm can get even 50K because Bumi quota AS1M still a lot available.

anyway it's good to split 50/50 into ASW & AS1M icon_rolleyes.gif

I guess one has to do some work and get "lucky" later mah.  rclxm9.gif

On the brighter side, I need to get one new account only as my wife (being wiser than me) opened 2 accounts for our 2 sons many years ago when ASM was not so popular then.

Try, try, try, hope, hope, hope, and win, win, win! Ha.

Nowadays very hard to open new account. Why that time didn't open one for your daughter when your wife open for 2 of your sons hmm.gif rclxub.gif

yape, for me, i have the time to try but having issues with the limited bullets..

if my bullets are sufficient, i would always go try without caring on my luck issues..
