eh how he managed to get so much?  rclxub.gif  He got insider in the bank?  hmm.gif

*
there may be a few factor:

1. he is an elgibile depositor (a convert can invest)

2. he is using other people's account (i.e. tumpang account, pay 1 - 2% commission)

3. he is just plain lucky

If u r non bumi, yes
If u r bumi, in fact quite ez
Anyway, the returns over d past 5 to 10 yrs is slightly better

QUOTE(Ancient-XinG- @ Sep 6 2014, 07:20 AM)
Wrong.

Its very difficult to top up all fixed price funds, for non-bumi.

QUOTE(davinz18 @ Sep 6 2014, 08:37 AM)
u mean from bumi perspective? It's more difficult to get ASW than others ASx  hmm.gif

as non-bumi, all the fixed price funds very difficult to top up.  from my perspective, ASM the most difficult to top up  cry.gif

Thanks for the responses. What I meant was from the posts in PNB threads, it seems that ASW is harder to accumulate compared to other fixed price funds. That was my assumption based on my own experience plus the success rates & the amount of top ups (omitting some sparse big hits) posted in PNB funds' threads.

Thus, I’d like to enquire the reason of the difficulty of topping up ASW.

weird isnt it?usually when i want to update my ASB at cimb, they said offline..then i went to maybank just few meters from them, its ok..system not offline..daaaaaaa.. hmm.gif  hmm.gif
*
I don't know why they love to "fake system offline" thingy rclxub.gif Maybank also ASNB agent & another bank, but they don't do this crap thingy nod.gif

If they don't want to be ASNB agent, just tell directly to PNB. then we could get another agent. Maybe Affin could offer OTC services for ASNB smile.gif

Normally these "big" amount transaction done at banks. OTC "transfer" from CASA to ASx account. One cannot carry big amount cash around like those YSLM people whistling.gif

Why 31-8-2020?

Due to 2020 developed status?

Better accumulate now. Ha.

Just kidding with 20.20%.

I take it that you do not own ASW from 1st September 2006 until 31 August 2007 tongue.gif

During that period, unitholders received 7% income distribution + 1% special dividend in conjuction with 50th Merdeka celebration rclxm9.gif

I think we could get some "special" dividend payout for 60th Merdeka. On which ASx fund PNB would give, I'm not sure biggrin.gif

Need help from you all, especially the ones who have been riding on these ASX boat for years now

Please PM to me if you know or got some special Merdeka bonus in the past. See if there is a pattern they follow with special bonus. Take each one by turn? I will share the results later.

Thanks.
