I only managed to bank in RM200 with many trials by the bank officer..

Then, when it comes to printing error on the passbook, the officer say she will try for me RM1 and RM10, but somehow even with such a minimum amount, it is still failed.

Oh ok, cause the staff at maybank told me I should max my ASB first before putting any money in ASW, so just a little confused what to do.

I will max up my ASB first if i am a bumi.. the returns from ASB is higher than the other fixed price unit trusts..

I know the feeling  sad.gif  it's kinda frustrated to know that the units are always available to bumi while we always "trying" with some hope of getting some "left-overs" limited units  cry.gif

Anyway I always stay positive & hoping that Jibby would "open" his heart, understand our frustration & ask PNB to launch new fund or "increase" current ASx fund for subscription  smile.gif

I got the feeling even the PNB staff are silently "watching" & reading all the comments & posting here  hmm.gif

Another thing, don't "try" everyday unless the agents are juz next door or walking distance from your working place / home  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Yape, i try when i am on the move outside since the work is always needed me to go out all the time..

I really hoped that there are some miracles that there would be new fixed price funds to be launched for the non-bumi to participate also..

I give up to try for this month and hope that the next month will have brighter chance.. nod.gif

I know the feeling bro. Try & error is not the best way. but if you're lucky then it's worth it every minute u spend on it  sweat.gif
The risk is much lower in fixed price fund compare with variable pricing fund. it's all depend on your preference & risk appetite  icon_rolleyes.gif

after going through a very drought season for my trial to bank in into the asnb funds, right now, i am thinking about diversification. i am thinking about investing in AmDynamic Bond as a form of diversification..

but due to my income constraint, accuracy of decision is important.

I will use AmDynamic Bond as my Plan B, as my Plan A to try bank in is no longer easy compared to before.. shakehead.gif

Oh, thanks for the information..

I might have been overlooking their performance..

Well, in fact, i am still not so comfortable in investing in variable pricing products due to previous history..

lol..

Managed to get RM1900 for my son at MB today.

Have been to that bank many many times before and this is the first time I got lucky! Hopefully the chain is now broken and "free entry" for me now. Ha.

Funny thing is, when the staff tried 1000, no strike, then tried 500, ada, tried another 500, ada again. Looks like this system does not like 1000 and prefer to use smaller number. I know, may be incoming units are at 500, 500 etc and not 1000 and thus unsuccessful at 1000.

Cheerio.

double confirmed with RHB bank, any investment amount below RM500K, service charge 2.5%, any amount above 500K, service charge reduced to 2%.

Only applicable to ASN2/ ASN3. the 2.5%-3% rebates will be bank in to the account within 21 days.
*
Does this means that investing RM1,000 or RM2,000 also service charge only 2.5%?

Yes, pls double check by calling Rhb to verify.
To me, 2.5% service charge not that competitive, cimb offer 2.5% for all equity funds to cimb clicks customers, FSM offer 1-2% service charge only.
*
thanks for the information..

yape i agreed that 2.5% is not competitive enough as FASM only charges 1 to 2% service charge..

just that too bad, FSM does not offer ASG for the sale..

anyway, this is precious information from you..

thank you. nod.gif

I believe the demand might be quite slow unless for those investors who have maxed their ASB account..

I think many investors are have a wait and see strategy.. smile.gif

This morning i have successfully deposited RM300 into ASM.

But i am starting to feel difficult to bank in, not because i dont have the time to try, but its because some of the banks which i normally visited here (e.g: Maybank especially) always want to introduce me the variable priced unit trusts.

They tell me to invest in ASN variable price funds, because they tell me that the returns are higher.. Well, although i tell them that i prefer Kenanga unit trust funds for variable price unit trust, they still insist me to invest with them..

Ended up, there are 2 branches that i did not planned to go in future. No choice.. blush.gif

Seems like we are under the same boat..

They are so aggressive which makes me wonder if they are desperate to achieve target or leads to stay on working in the bank.

I tell them my Kenanga offer me higher return and its my preference for variable price unit trusts, but they also say this one also not bad.. They don't seem to understand and passed me the application form.

Feel like they are not really understanding what i am telling them.

However, it really makes me feel appreciate on how important it is to try my best not to withdraw the money in my AS1M and ASM.

Once u withdraw ASM n AS1M, gud bye
Once u withdraw KGF n KSGF, can buy back at 1% s/c now

Yape, entering into ASM and AS1M is too difficult and i take no chances to withdraw it.

Well, i am going to develop my emergency fund due to this problem..

I have long aborted my intention to have an emergency fund because those bank officers were kind to me previously.

But somehow, after encountering so many obstacles like those bank officers being aggressive on their variable unit trusts (e.g: ASN 3, ASG), i think its time for me to work it out.

Never know that things can become this difficult nowadays..

Someone told me that there's no new units for subscription until year end. The reason is because the fund are getting harder to handle. If PNB do offer new units, they might not able to give competitive dividends to investors & risk damaging their good reputation.
*
Basically, i received quite numerous of opinions saying ASNB might not open new units for subscription for fixed price unit trusts in future as ASNB is now aggressively pushing the sales of the variable price unit trusts such as ASG and ASN 3, and so on..

Some more, the latest new fixed price unit trusts has been offered to the bumiputera investors. I don't see any hopes on it but still depend much on miracle.

EPF still deliver competitive returns despite rec'd mthly contribution of RM1.1 bil
*
Yape.. the returns of EPF is competitive, but the only thing is that it is not as liquid as ASNB is.

But can only withdraw at a golden age.

Eventually I hoped that someday that ASNB will offer managed unit trusts such as Kenanga AMP Plus 2, or MAAKL Managed Fund series because i am starting to allocate my portfolio towards managed unit trusts due to the difficulties in depositing monies into my fixed price unit trusts.

Non-bumi here & I don't spend a lot of time. I'm not like some people who go to the bank on daily basis just to get some Amanah Saham units. I only try when I'm in the bank doing other banking transaction. u need proper planning & don't just waste time without any positive result.
*
Yape, same applies to me either..

No point to waste the time waiting there especially when the result is not confirmed..

Unless i am a bumi who can bank in anytime.. blush.gif
