Perhaps... Could also be the m2ts files.. Has been known to cause issues... Best to either rip as .mkv or .iso, cuz if done properly, there will be no loss in audio or video signals. Definitely easy playback, great pictures & sound quality like good remuxes.

ccschua... You can use the software "MakeMKV" to convert the BDMV files into .mkv format. Wont take too long on a decent PC.

Let say I if have a external Bluray rom, which software should I use to play BD disc ? Kodi can accept ?

External Blu-ray ROM?... As in a physical Blu-ray disc? If yes and an unencrypted disc, you'll have to use a PC, via VLC and/or Media Player Classic Home Cinema (MPC-HC). Both preferably 64-bit versions.

i have problem with p2p sport stream, ace stream seems does not work anymore as it need to be activate or use premium. is it has to be pay nowdays?


btw, Anyone has tried xo1000-sports-addon? quite good.. surprisingly no lag at all when watching live match (skysport & BT sport)..

but... like most russian stuff, they are not well done.

the SD 480 aac2.0 links work fine but the HD 1080 dd5.1 don't.

reliable SD links are easy to find, HD are not.

for now, i find skysports HD are best with adrian supertv which are in HD 720 aac2.0.


the thing about kodi/xbmc is it seems to be THE nursery for many people to grow their plans. once they become ripe, either they get harassed away by lawyers or they sell out to some IPTV bizmen so that they can start charging.

thanks to you, i have successfully got quasar working - on the androidbox as well as on the smart tv.

since there is >7gb available on either device, and my speed is only so much, i will not attempt do more than 1080p hdtv, 1080p webrips and 1080p hdrips. i just set the paths to the sdcards, the files get erased upon exit.

a couple of things to check with you:

.. do u get small jerks with the videos, i.e. not as smooth as compared to playback with a saved file via usb?

.. why do i need to reset the path every time i exit and re-enter in order to clear the "quasar cache"... is there a shortcut or am i missing something?

1. i installed quasar on my phone, my macbook and android box, of coz on the mac will be flawless perhaps due to ssd and airplay (stereo)
to be honest i do get small jerk on the android box perhaps due to so many things running in the background, my mail, sambadroid, lazada, 11street, miracast and whatapps too.

2. i dont need to reset the path, i set it once and it's there even after i pull out the plug. have you tried to connect with portable hd and set the path there. Could be space issue there.

1. i managed to smoothen the video - by increasing the buffer size. but it seems to be the same whether sdcard or ext hdd.

2. still failed... still need to "ok" the configuration everytime i turn on. sdcard or ext hdd, same. U surely changed the path but did you change the library or default blank? a reason i can think of is it seems to he happen whenever the message "playlist update failed" comes on. i can see that the playlist has failed to update many times. old one 2.01 still there while 3.0 is "available" but fail to update. what playlist version u hv now? any idea how to update this playlist, .e.g some new plugin?

QUASAR is a powerful addon but need some work. please watch and follow closely the steps in the video, make own adjustments so as not to be scratching your head!
