Kissasian and kiss cartoon has some major changes on web it self. Kiss anime maybe share the same fate soon luckily the dev highway99 is on the issue.

I qoute his last post

Thank you, I was checking KissAsian today and noticed too. Seems to be a bit of differences in last half of the kissenc.min.js as well as the hex values in a couple strings. Variable names seem to also be changed, but overall function seems to be the same.

Between kodim and mr network, it seems that mr network works for some channel and kodim work work for others but at least you two option incase one isn't working.

Used Quasar addon on an android box running KODI 16.1, to play a 5GB 720p Blu-ray file with hard-coded subs and DTS Audio... Had zero issues, from start till finish and even with deliberately forced pauses in between. Smooth playback.

my experience with quasar is it can take up to 8gb files for 30mbps.

can't do bigger videos unless much higher speed like 100mbps to get a good average for smoothing streaming.

even that, it will depend on the seed/peer situation.

but yes... quasar is very useful. biggrin.gif

users of adrian super tv.

i suspect due to owner site changes and updates, saved favorite channels may not work.

but, go to the addon and play the channels, they work.

world of sports... ALL of them now work! rclxms.gif

Yeah, being torrents, much depends on seeders : peers ratio. I'll push it's limits on my box to see how far till it breaks.. biggrin.gif However, it's sufficient for my needs. Which is near-instant streaming of favorite TV Shows + so and so type movies.. Typically, these do not go beyond 10GB and include DD 5.1 audio at least. For blockbusters, only full Blu-ray releases.. Usually 20GB+.. Much easier to pre-download overnight and store till the appropriate time to play locally. Still using VIP10.. Sucks having to wait due to principles, to upgrade to Unifi's Advance30 plan. sad.gif

Network connections and health are monitored like a hawk. Try to keep it optimum at all times... biggrin.gif

Quasar + external hard disk
*Started with a 19GB Blu-ray + DTS-HD file... Paused and allowed it to pre-download till about 6%... Hit play and it started playing smoothly for a couple of minutes till, I'm guessing, it ran out of buffered content to play, then started to stutter... Being a torrent file, the bottleneck could be the current Internet speed (10Mbps) not downloading fast enough to keep up with playback... Proving insufficient, so the result is as expected.
*Moved down to an 11GB 1080p file... Same scenario as above. Internet speed bottleneck.

Switched back to Quasar + local storage
*Played a 7GB 1080p file, left to buffer for awhile and it was able to play smoothly for about an hour, before I quit it (boring). So that worked and I believe anything lower, with enough peers will work... So, much faster internet speeds + fast storage on the Neo U1 should theoretically equal smooth playback of larger files with the Quasar addon.

Discovered media content in Quasar can be integrated directly into the KODI library... So, one is able to add TV Shows or Movies and launch directly from the library menu. This is particularly convenient for TV shows as the list of unwatched episodes are updated & show up right above the TV Shows menu... thumbup.gif

thanks for the info.

yes, 7gb for those with lots of seeds, very possible.

i was actually trying to see if u get judders during playback when the buffer is good, i.e. the dwnlded portion is ahead of the play point. noticed anything about that for 1, 3, 5, 7gb files?

You are welcome.. No, didnt experience such while playing such files with the buffered content being ahead... I really hope Quasar is maintained and improved as its quite handy. Eliminating the need to completely pre-download files before playback or searching high & low for content & dealing with dead links.
