My XDS 270 seat not difficult to lower/raise. Folding is QUITE small but I feel not very narrow V, just a V shape only (but not wide wide like China foldie). Looks like the java folds a bit better though.

Also, XDS can stand, there's a stand under the gear (not connected with seatpost) so that you can balance it on that and both wheel.

Thank you for your input, LostAndFound.
How long you have your XDS 270? Any problem with it?

I have not seen the Java Fit in the shop yet. Most of the time view from the photos in the Internet.
I am sure there are a few things different between the Java Fit and the XDS 630.
Does the difference of RM480 worth getting the Java Fit?
Of save the RM480 and get the XDS 630?

For you, which one will you pick?

seems like seat post is always the problem for less-known brands ?.. But I tried the trinx, trx , xds, and my veroli the other day, all of them have no issues of moving up and down .. I don't feel a need to push or pull at all.. Could it be a remote case where someone got a lemon and so that goes the reputation?

I think what LostAndFound meant was that there's a stand under the bottom bracket on the XDS, so u won't need to lower down the seat post to make the folded bike stand on its own, such as this:
Attached Image

Dahons n Terns can do that but the bike has to rest on the chainguard which is not so ideal ...

I wished my Dahon had this little stand thing also, thinking a way to DIY now, it's really really useful when u wanna keep the seat post up to roll the bike around.

Yea tht is wht I'm talkin about.

Dahon don't need to rest on d crank, jz lower the post.

For temp folding the stand might b usefull like wht uve said cos can use post to push n stil rest.

But if the post is really hard to push down , eg some bike like speedgear etc then it is troublesome.

Thank you for your input.
The stand under the BB is not an issue then.

Just recently only got it, maybe a month or more. No problems, initially the gear-shifting a bit off but the uncle at the shop readjust for me (some here will be able to teach you to DIY that too I'm sure). Otherwise quite okay. After using it to get around (and taking it to Pahang in my wife's car) I wish its a bit lighter, but no complaints on ride feel. Also always spend my time in gears 5-7, so having a lower-torque gear would be nice for cycling on road.

Here, the 4px forwarder agent clarify it for me, as long as your item < 30kg and, (width + height)*2 + length not more than 300cm, they are able to deliver it for you. The best part is, the only measure the WEIGHT! brows.gif

This is sea shipping or air shipping? U sure they only measure by weight? Last I know for big items they'll take volumetric weight. I'm also using 4px for my TB orders

H2D,
Java Fit -RM1680
XDS AFB630 - RM1200

Difference of RM480. Is it worth to pay the extra to get the Java Fit or save that amount to get the XDS?
*
hi cucubud

I am having the XDS AFB630 so far I am happy with it and love well to me budget is an important issue if money is not and issue then u can go for others.

I think is base on your choice and what u do with the bike. I am a beginner and I dont think I can be so pro to me cycling is a hobby and I am not a pro.

My XDS AFB630 give me the things i needed. I am a happy person with this ride.

You have money Java fit loh. More money mah brompton lo
