h2d, Thanks for your valuable info. The reason i am looking at it compared to Dash is the conventional fold it has. The design looks a bit old compared to Vector, which could be doubled the price i guess? Of coz components used are different which i acknowledged

RM90 sound cheap, I saw it selling at RM300++.

Can share the pictures ? It can fit into any bicycle?

As requested:-

Attached Image

This is the clamp. Some of the bikes I looked at had seat posts which wouldn't allow this to be attached. For example triangle fork (not sure if that's the right name) and the brake line attached to the seat post. The seat has hooks which go into those holes on the right (front of seat).

Attached Image

The clamp is attached using normal alan key, can tighten/loosen yourself. It's not VERY strong against side-to-side rotation, but doesn't slide up and down which is the main thing.

Attached Image

The seat. Comes with a bit of padding, which is really thin. Not a big deal for me. You can see the restraining belt clearly here. It goes over the head, which may be a bit inconvenient.

Attached Image

Adjustable foot rests (took me 2 rides to realize these were adjustable) via screws at the back.

Attached Image

This is the hooks at the back which go into the clamp.

Now that I look at it again I think the back seat works exactly the same way, just the hooks come out front rather than back. Not sure if can convert, but I'll try one day. Anyway the shop I mentioned sells front and back seats of this type, both same price.

i think this old shop that offer me trinx..there is a few maybe
run out of stock..i should try to check with the shop again. i see
land rover but the seller said is not alloy. xds more better? specs same as java? how about weight? i see price tag is a little bit lower
*
Java Fit has thinner tyres and a full alloy frame compared to the Trinx so it should be lighter.
Component wise, Java has brakes from reputable brand (Avid BB5) but i think the rest are pretty much the same, maybe better wheelset as well (WTB rim i think) and cabling (Jagwire)

The reason the shop said Trinx is best value is because u get a lot of decent components for RM 8xx. Other than the brakes and wheels the other major components are pretty much Shimano or Prowheel usual stuffs on par with the Java

Now i suddenly dunno why would Java be selling for 1.6k already lol. Trinx used to be crap but the recent models come with OK components.

They're all made in China btw so no difference with that LOL, just that Java Fit is supposedly "designed in Italy"

Any recommendation for a baby helmet which would fit a 45 cm head? Those I can find on lelong.com.my are really expensive (and say like 46-56 cm, which is scarily large variance to me), and most of the bicyclebuysell links don't state size.

Morning Sifu's, am into MTB and now my wife and kids are keen to join. targeting either new Trinx or used Dahon/java bike.

yesterday was at a shop and would like to seek sifu's advice on foldies as could not understand a couple of things.

1. Are the market foldies have the same size, size refer to from seatpost to handlebar distant
2. my daughter height 4 ft, 3 inch, is there shorter seatpost for sale.
3. are there any readily available front steerer which can purchase at shorter length (to fit my daughter height).

Tks in advance for enlightment.
