Well I ride a China Hummer. Got it for 850 bucks

Although is china fake, some say the difference in material is that original Montague is using 7005 aluminium which is stronger and lighter, while china Hummers are using 6061 aluminium with maybe less sophisticated welding methods. Other than this, some other differences i can notice is
- Original Montague uses CLIX quick release, can operate with one hand, china Hummer uses regular 9mm QR
- Some parts are covered and sealed off in original Montague so water kenot masuk, same part in china Hummer is exposed (see comparisons here : http://www.zhuangbei2012.com/survival_equi...e-montague.html
- Original Montague supports V n disc brakes I think, China Hummer only disc brakes.

Other than this, I don't see much difference. The specs for the other components for Montague u can find online, for my China Hummer I've noticed the following:
- Saddle, fork, handler bar, seat post, wheels i dunno what brand, can't locate.
- Cassette and RD, shifter + brake lever is Shimano Tourney
- Brakes itself are of Repute, some china brand
- Front crankset I think is Sunwheel or something
- FD is Microshift.

What I like about the Montague/Hummer design is it doesn't break the top tube in half. I can say it's good enough for most trails in Msia (but maybe not downhill). I've fallen off the bike a few times and tried stupid stunts also still ok LOL.

Recently upgraded some components and rides even better now.

For the Ranger ... i find that a big load of BS LOL if it's 6k original price it had better come with at least SLX groupset and Rockshox fork!
