In Malaysia, is it okay to ride a bicycle on a pedestrian walk? I see this is common in Singapore but in Malaysia, I am looked one kind when I do so.
The reason I choose to ride on a pedestrian walk sometimes is because of safety. The road traffic condition is bad and all the motorcyclists who are going on the most left of the road will not be happy to see me riding a bicycle and blocking their way.
I do that most of the time. Here are some tips. The reason I choose to ride on a pedestrian walk sometimes is because of safety. The road traffic condition is bad and all the motorcyclists who are going on the most left of the road will not be happy to see me riding a bicycle and blocking their way.
Make sure you able to see not much people using the pedestrian walk. Then go ahead.
Make sure the tiles not slippery type cos I slipped once.
Ride slowly cos you might not know someone will pop up.
