QUOTE(izaman @ Jul 18 2006, 05:03 PM) so, what is the porpose of the d connector actually? is there any example of tv or lcd monitors that have d connector? i try to google just now but i can't find any relevent answers. From wikipedia: QUOTE D4 , D-tanshi (D端子), or D-Terminal, is a type of analog video connector found on Japanese consumer electronics, typically HDTV, DVD, Bluray, D-VHS and HD-DVD devices. It was developed by the EIAJ (Electronic Industry Association of Japan) for use in digital satellite broadcast tuners. In appearance it is a small flat trapezoid connector, the same connector as the AAUI connector used by Apple Computer for some time to connect to ethernet. A D4 connector carries a Component video signal (Y Pr Pb). A device with a D4 connector can understand and display the following video signals:
* Japanese D1 video - 525i (480i). * Japanese D2 video - 525p (480p). * Japanese D3 video - 1125i (1080i/1035i). * Japanese D4 video - 750p (720p). To make it simple, only HDTV sold in Japan uses D-Terminal. HDTV from other place are using Component Cable.

QUOTE(izaman @ Jul 18 2006, 04:39 PM) is the D-terminal is as same as DVI-D? also known as D4 connector, its a Japanese standard available mostly only to Japanese TVs. Actually it carries the same YCbCr signal as Component video, only different connector. Wikipedia D-Terminal DVI *edit: oops, someone already answered, sorry. My next question would be,
1.any cons using the stepdown converter for JAP 360? 2. does this step down converter produce heat?

That's why you can see people playing Halo 2 online on 360. if like both console is using xbox1 game such as halo2 or forza, then you can play online together. but if one using xbox1 game and the other using xbox360 game (bf2:mc / graw), then you cannot play online together.
