that depend on how hard working the branch officer..
if they do they tagging of your FD to credit dept fast, then only credit dept can proceed..

And also how fast the postman delivers the offer letter to you. For me thats the slow part. Bank delivers on 22nd. I only received 2 weeks later !!

The new card number appear in M2U after 2~3 days after I signed the set off letter, SMS notification came 2 days later, then the cards delivered by poslaju another 2 days.

exactly, my waiting period mainly on the offer letter arrival, more than 2 weeks for mine.

actually I have 1 issue. I dont have any documentation stating I am pledging the FD, it's gotta headache again when the time I wanna get my FD release...

i think this has been shared quite frequently by a few members.

if you are current M2K Gold/Plat holder, they will offer you a default 30k credit limit. You would have to pledge (30k - your current M2K CL) = RM X.

MBB will keep your FD cert, you cannot withdraw as long as your card is active.

In the event you run away or go missing, they use your FD to pay outstanding.

i dont think the bank will ask for FD pledge if your annual income >= to 180k?
