QUOTE(Gen-X @ Apr 20 2014, 12:40 AM) I called Maybank CS and was told we will only earn 10,000TP each for activating the AMEX RESERVE and Visa Infinite. Therefore what I got. i.e. 20,000 TP is correct I guess. tigaxxx, you lucky fellow get to be rewarded with 30,000 TPĀ @Gen-X, You're right (and Maybank CS too).... My other extra 10K TP's were from My wife's Suppl. VI card ... and I'll get 10k more TP's when she start using her AMEX card for the 1st time... May be you should add the FREE TP's stuff in your MBB2 Card review and quote my name ..hehehe just kidding and I did read all ur blog's posts (well..almost) and very informative & comprehensive indeed... Bro, thanks for the heads up, I must go ask my wife to go use her Maybank 2 Cards Premier supp cards so that I earn 10K TP too. And added your nickname into my article mentioned above by giving you credit on the extra 10K TP.

Bro, what you talking about MBB canceling one's card when he/she turns 65? Foreign bank(s) maybe they will do such a thing but MBB? Anyway, you being the Principal Cardholder is responsible for your supp card bills. This post has been edited by Gen-X: Apr 20 2014, 09:56 PM

Not sure whether this age limit affect existing cardmember or not .

QUOTE(tigaxxx @ Apr 20 2014, 10:16 AM) Upon 1st usage/transaction ---> Principle 2 cards + supplementary 2 cards = 40,000 FREEĀ TP's I just want to clarify and make correction to my statement above .. My wife just used her AMEX (supplementary card) recently ... and when I checked the TP's thru M2U, the card only earned regular TP's NOT free 10k TP's... Therefore, what I can conclude here/now is, supplementary cards only receive 10K TP's Upon 1st usage/transaction ---> Principle 2 cards + supplementary 2 cards = 30,000 FREE TP's This post has been edited by tigaxxx: Apr 22 2014, 03:22 PM

Bro, and you said RM100K tough I was wondering if you did read my Maybank 2 Cards Premier American Express Reserve and Visa Infinite Comprehensive Review. If you had not (or any of my articles), it does not surprise me as you are an expert in credit cards. In an earlier post, I did ask you to consider providing a link my Comprehensive Review of the Maybank 2 Cards Premier in Post#1 for the benefit of others. TO ALL: I just posted in my Facebook Page, if we had set our SMS default Value to RM1 for our previous Maybank credit cards, i.e. MBB 2 Cards Plat, we still need to request that the SMS default value to set to RM1 for our Maybank 2 Cards Premier as it is not automatic. And to my surprise, AirAsia did not request for AMEX MSOS Safekey when I used my AMEX RESERVE! This post has been edited by Gen-X: Apr 27 2014, 11:18 PM

Hmm I read somewhere that this card can convert TP to Asia Miles. Did I see it wrongly? Any cards out there that can convert to Asia Miles?

She did mention to me no need to set it again as just need to set one time.. and truth enough i get SMS on every transaction...so far all oversea transaction.. some even small amount like sgd4.. can anyone else confirm about this?

QUOTE(jieming @ Apr 28 2014, 03:15 AM) Hmm I read somewhere that this card can convert TP to Asia Miles. Did I see it wrongly? Any cards out there that can convert to Asia Miles? As of now only Amex Membership Rewards and Citibank will convert to Asia Miles. I've not personally converted to Asia Miles but have converted to Krisflyer and Avios from both of the above. Treatpoints only convert to Krisflyer and Enrich. Having said that however, I personally suggest converting to Avios if you're trying to redeem on Cathay Pacific. A one way Hong Kong to NYC for example costs 35k, 70k or 105k for economy, biz and first when redeeming with Avios vs. 55k, 85k or 130k when redeeming with Asia Miles.
