Well, KUL-SIN-ICN return in J will cost you 68k miles and RM1,721.90. I'll pay the RM600 and swipe the cards a little more to reach 68k and enjoy SQ J class to Seoul return.

Thanks for all the great info bros. Another thing I really consider is that if I swipe the RM 30,000 and pay the RM 600 charge, I can definitely spend over RM 80k per year and get the auto waiver. I can save the RM 800 annual fees as well.

If I do not swipe the RM 30,000, I can spend roughly around RM 60,000 per year. Do you think they will waive my annual fees if I call in to request? 🤔🤔🤔

Are SQ seats as easily available as MA? Or much harder? And can redemption be done online for SQ just like MA?

Depends on route but generally speaking, MH availability is better lah.

For the SQ flight to Seoul I plugged in random dates in May: Saver award seats were available.

well just to get the 3k miles, no point to use it. Plus if you already have Premier 2 cards, its easy

it till give you unlimited entry to Malaysia lounge. Very regret to apply Amex Plat now, should have read more and apply for this

3k miles is still 3k miles. With first year free annual fee it's easy enough to apply and cancel within the 12 month period. I will probably do it

apply mainly for the 3k miles old KF account got force close due to no activity, with this 3k miles at least my KF can last

Did a redemption for Krisflyer miles on Saturday. I asked whether they cross-check the MBB account holder name with the Krisflyer account. She told me MBB does not check but the airlines will revert back to them in the case the names differ. Anyone else managed to transfer miles to other people's FFP account?

BTW the miles came through yesterday, so took them 4 days.

Just wondering, is the maybank premier card eligible for free platinum parking in one utama?

WMC Maybank, 5 treat miles = 5x treat points

Some thoughts:

1. No first year annual fee waiver. That's RM1k down the hole automatically.
2. RM1 = 2.5 treat miles = 0.393 Enrich miles for WMC. Compare this with Premiere's RM1 = 2 TP = 0.419 Enrich/KF/AM
3. No mention on Treat AirMiles = Treat Points or Treat Airmiles conversion to KF/AM
4. RM120k spend annually to avoid annual fee

Advantages:
* 50k treat miles sign up bonus
* treat miles never expire

Aside from the 50k sign up bonus, I am not seeing much to like here.

OIC, Thanks for details enlightenment. RM1k buy 50k treat miles. Unlimited lounge entries better get the Amex card as well.

50k treatmiles = 7,800 enrich miles only.. actually only 7k enrich. balance cannot transfer partial.

Just sharing my experience. I applied for this when 50,000 treat miles = 10,000 miles.

Got the miles, the card was never delivered to me and after a few months I called up, MBB said card has been cancelled as it was never picked up.

Suits me just fine
