So you get both the normal MBB VI (not MU) and the new Amex Reserve? The 80k spend is both cards combined or just the Amex?

Funny there is no mention of the VI, just a picture of it. Does the VI even have the features of the normal VI?

Or is it too early to know...

Yup, it does have the standard features of VI. As for MU VI, 5x TP for petrol and groceries. When MU win aslo can get 5x TP... Hehe..

Yes, but that would mean annual fees of RM1,600 per year. Unless spending RM130,000, exactly spread over the two cards, is not a problem for you...

agoda giving 12% discount when using VI on wednesday.
i am wondering if i make booking on agoda and select RM instead of USD..
does this count as oversea transaction to get 5x TP or local transaction (2x Tp only)?

Done it before, and it was considered overseas. But that was awhile back.

Converted and they added 6% to the conversion rate. So with the 10% bonus, basically it's only 3.6% better than before GST with no promotion.

This is effectively further TP to Enrich devaluation (4770 for VI/Amex Reserve and 10600 for other cards) on 1 May onwards.

Can I confirm that BHPetrol kiosks do not accept AmEx as a payment option?

Thank you!

I know of someone who paid for the entire car at CCB with Amex. No such restriction, but had to pay CC fees.

Also, if you stop replying to the stupid queries, then maybe they will cease.

No set date bro. Currently I am just having 50k miles. I plan to go to London, Melbourne or Korea in the future but not sure when yet. Will go for the Singapore Airlines business class.

If you were me, would you pay 2% charge (RM 600) just for the 13k miles? Burn money or save money? haha

Some nutters here would, including me.

But don't get caught on the redemption availability. Airmiles is a game, and if you don't do a lot of redeeming, you might well lose. House wins most of the time, but you better your odds if you count the cards.

usually the transaction will go through..

We'll all be PIN enabled on 1 July 2017. But currently only CIMB are rolling out the cards, and only in stages.

See PIN & pay

Seems to have been delayed from 1 Jan, unsurprisingly...
