so happy wayne decides to stay with us (albeit expensive but can't deny he gave 100% on the pitch) and this should be the last tantrum of his career.

feels like a new signing.bring on palace

good lah rooney wanna extend his contract even though he knows there's a good chance we might not be able to play for UCL.

maybe he was being reassured by moyes that he will bring big names players next season? brows.gif

300k really is a lot.. esp for a 30+ yrs old player few yrs in future..

happy to see rooney sign a new deal but seriously i doubt SAF would hv done the same.. for a club like united statue wt rich history and success money should not be the motivation. if it club like city or anzhi ke xpela..

wt the news being widely publicise.. other player sure jelly then asking more money esp if we going to sign a new big star player

David moyes play crossing game get 75% possession 81 record breaking crosses whole world hates him..

Pep Guardiola play boring possession football passing sideways passing back to defender passing to keeper.. No one hates him... but calls it beautiful football..

If you're insinuating something then you might wanna state it more clearly tongue.gif

Also, you're comparing CL results between big clubs.

Our stat was versus.. Fulham. If we pulled the same stats vs a big club DM would probably get a LOT of credit.

No matter. We don't have time to dwell on the past and we shall not dwell on the past.

Although we won't forget about our roots, the history, the Munich air disaster, legacy of the Busby Babes and Sir Matt, legacy of Sir Alex Ferguson and a lot more, we shall look forward, look ahead and still keep on standing behind the club. biggrin.gif

P.s. Look what G.Nev did to a certain legend on his certain "logic" tongue.gif

Doesn't mata.. the only difference I see barcelona is Lionel Messi's imba mode.. and players diving I'm pretty sure tat is how pep guardiola play his football...

Philosophy football under pep guardiola -->

Rule Number 1: Always pass back and side ways but make sure to pass it fast and occasionally play one touch football so that we can give an impression that we are playing amazing football.

Rule Number 2: When fail to retain possession, dive hard when opponent players touch you.. slightest touch is recommended..

Rule Number 3: After diving, roll on the grass like you had been hit by a truck. If camera is pointing at your face make sure you do a peekaboo...

Rule Number 3: When opponent players get foul, gather all the your teammates including keeper to pressure the referee like its the worst offence in the world..

Rule Number 4: When opponent players tired, pass to Lionel Messi

Rule Number 5: After goal scored, repeat rule number one.

Not sure where this fixation with Barca/Guardiola came from, I'm strictly talking about our club smile.gif

Hmmmm Rooney signed.

Pros:
- Retained one of our highest profile players in terms of performance and also marketability
- Assuming he stays serious about his physical condition, he is good enough to build the team around
- Kept him out of local rivals hands

Cons:
- Expect at least one of RvP/Kagawa/Chicharito to leave in the summer.
- Dem wages @_@ Hopefully this doesn't make the squad unhappy and start pushing for a raise.
- Money that could have been invested in other areas is now tied to Rooney, we should get 2-3 more good years from him.. the 4th year might be another story.

Hopefully he uses this contract as motivation to rise to the occasion even more.
