QUOTE(nVidiaFX @ Feb 11 2014, 11:50 PM) WOW JUST WOW. WOW this show how weak you are.. you are showing signs of a weak person.. How can a person with your whining personality play for Manchester United? You don't deserve to wear the badge. This shows that you have no fighting spirit. Now you blame it on the media and fans for not supporting you... you certainly forgot who pays your wages.. and the chances you have been given to show how good you are. at least have some humility.. Disgusting playing.. ship him out now.. bring back tunnicliffe!!Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley feels he has been made a scapegoat for the club's poor form. The champions have made hard work of their Premier League title defence and may even struggle to land a Champions League place next season as they currently sit nine points adrift of fourth-placed Liverpool. Criticism of David Moyes and his side has been widespread, but fans have aimed much of their frustration at Cleverley. "When I first started getting singled out, it stung," the midfielder told the Mirror. "But it's something you have got to learn to take when the team is not doing well. "My job goes under the radar at times. I am not a player who's going to beat three or four people and stick it in the top corner or go round tackling people like Roy Keane. "I would like the fans on my side and it hurts a little bit when you have grown up at the club and love the club every bit as much as the supporters. "But there are other people in the current United squad who have been through this kind of thing and they have made sure their quality shone through. "I have got to look at those people. I have learned to take it with a pinch of salt and I'm sure it will make me stronger for the rest of my career. "I feel I've been made a scapegoat a little bit. A few people in the media certainly seem to have a perception of me not doing much in the team. "I feel I've been made a scapegoat a little bit. A few people in the media certainly seem to have a perception of me not doing much in the team." Tom Cleverley "Don't get me wrong, I know I can do better but people are making a big thing about how I don't score enough goals when that is not necessarily my first job in the team." United fans might want to see Cleverley in a box-to-box role, but that is not the role Moyes has asked him to play with the United boss preferring him in a holding role. "I watch Spanish football a lot," Cleverley says. "If they pass the ball sideways but keep possession, the fans clap them. "Their attitude is that as long as you have got the ball, the other team can't hurt you. "I know the mentality is different here and that is what makes our game the best in the world because it is so intense. "But sometimes I have got to not listen and play my game because I feel I'm doing the best thing for the team." WOW. So he can't tackle, he can't create goals, he can't score goals, and he side passes. HE CREATED A NEW ROLE WHICH IS THE NOTHING ROLE. |

QUOTE(ayanami_tard @ Feb 14 2014, 12:14 AM) 70 mil is what a club will potentially get if they manage to go and win the competition. Doesn't matter how much we will earn... all the money kena songlap by glazers to pay debt... if not because of glazers we can sign anybody we need just like real madrid because our revenue is freaking insane..but we need need late push for top 4 finish. anything above that is a bonus. seems that Evra will join Vidic to Inter too... can we get nagatomo perhaps? and in unrelated news, Ravel Morrison will join QPR on loan. kinda shame to see him shooting his own foot, with his moronic attitude |

QUOTE(gr8fr8 @ Feb 14 2014, 11:43 PM) I agree with points stating that the young players like Janujaz and Zaha would only have 1 or 2 chances in making and staying in the first team. Janujaz certainly took his chances and grabbed it by the horns, so to speak but from I have seen with Zaha prior Cardiff, was he was either overwhelmed by the sheer size of the club or something else. I still think he has the talent, but maybe he needs more time to be introduced into the EPL. Time will tell. I am certainly excited by the sounds coming from the U-18s and U-21s. Janko, Pereira and Wilson. There is another young player who plays for U-18s who unmistakably plays like Carrick. Have same stature, the playing and passing style is so similar you would think he is Carrick. Only that he is predominantly left footed but like Carrick, can play with both feet. EDIT: Found him. Sean Goss. |

QUOTE(pundex @ Feb 18 2014, 06:12 PM) We were playing beautiful fast pace football and scored quite a lot of goals as well, but we were leaking goals at the same time. After we got hammered 6 - 1 by Man City, injuries etc, SAF decided to revert back to wingplay and counter attack. Maybe it was due to us being too gung ho Yeah.. even arsenal was no match to the all mighty one touch football we played during that time.. after that 6 - 1... changed totally...Now, it's all gone. It is not like I wanted us to play tiki taka or something fancy, but at least play a combination of some. We are being too one dimensional and it hurts to see the way we play now considering the variety of players we have. |

QUOTE(pundex @ Feb 18 2014, 06:50 PM) Yea... With Clev and Ando being injured, we did not have the players to play like that, thus SAF changed to adapt. Even mourinho comes... he will struggle as well.. How much money has mourinho spent in order to get his success? Compare to moyes in everton which he build from scratch turning everton to a stable club which now roberto martinez is able to enjoy.. Now, people talk about how this squad is long overdue and all. Seriously, this is the same squad that bossed Mourinho's Real Madrid up until Nani's red card. And we did it with Rooney on the bench at OT. How the heck that very same squad can regressed to current sorry state? And people are talking about letting Moyes spend big money to bring in the talent he want and rebuild the whole squad... The problem with United squad at the moment is trust and confidence.. they do not fully trust moyes at the moment because of his reputation in the trophy department. This united squad is just too used to Sir Alex influences. So moyes needs to build his reputation and the players need to trust him and help him. About the rebuilding part, probably now he is trying to let go players who does not believe in him.. That is where he stamp his authority.. If moyes wins the champs league it will skyrocket his CV and reputation. I think he should go for it.. but on the other hand it is extremely super duper difficult almost impossible with our current state.. but it will be easier than reaching top 4 because I think liverpool had already book that place.. unlikely they are gonna throw that away..unless suddenly the go on a losing spree... or suddenly all their key players go injured for a long time.. safe to say the place is already taken.. So logically speaking we should be desperately wanting to win the CL more than anything else as it will be the most realistic yet delusional expectation. |

QUOTE(pundex @ Feb 18 2014, 09:29 PM) Roberto Martinez built the foundation for Swansea as well before Brendan Rodger took over. I agreed Moyes did a great job at Everton. No doubt about that. However, even Everton fans admit Moyes' football peaked 3-4 years ago. They kind of stagnated since then. Why do you care what those people think? They speak like they know how to manage a football club. If the job is that simple everyone should be a manager then maybe I should be a manager also sign messi. Fans speak like they know everything about football with no basis or hands on experience in this department. This is an interesting post on Reddit by an Everton supporter: This post is from 9 months ago » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This is his recent post to answer some question by a Man Utd fan » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Why not mourinho? its probably because the club doesn't trust him because of his attitude and the way he manages which doesn't bring long term assurance to the club which what we are building for. Why not martinez? Did he did a good enough job to deserve to be a United boss? Maybe not good enough? Why not jurgen klopp? Probably not available or United is just not interested in him Why moyes? 11 years at club brought stability.. long term assurance.. martinez? wigan got relegated under him so is he stable? just because everton is playing well at the moment everton fans worshiping martinez forget about Moyes contribution. and don't forget Premier league is a very difficult league.. We have like Man Utd, arsenal, liverpool, Chelsea, Man City even tottenham could challenge for the cl place.. La liga, german league what??? So basically moyes is the most suitable manager at that time.. Unless United is looking for short term success we can hire mourinho.. I would give moyes time until next season.. blaming everything on moyes is just unfair... the players all has to take the blame as well as they were paid freaking lots of money to do something they love.. that is to play their best football.. I also like everyone pulling my hair due to his "amazing tactics".. and want moyes out...but in the end even if I keep moyes out he also won't go out.. so I should just enjoy the moment and see what else moyes can offer.. Well I'm expecting harder times.. GGMU |

QUOTE(onepack @ Feb 22 2014, 12:38 PM) 300k really is a lot.. esp for a 30+ yrs old player few yrs in future.. 300k x 55% = 165k <--- that is what he is gonna get...happy to see rooney sign a new deal but seriously i doubt SAF would hv done the same.. for a club like united statue wt rich history and success money should not be the motivation. if it club like city or anzhi ke xpela.. wt the news being widely publicise.. other player sure jelly then asking more money esp if we going to sign a new big star player cristiano ronaldo approximately earn 355k pounds x 75% = 266k 100k difference bro =D |

QUOTE(sunblaze @ Feb 22 2014, 06:04 PM) If you're insinuating something then you might wanna state it more clearly Doesn't mata.. the only difference I see barcelona is Lionel Messi's imba mode.. and players diving I'm pretty sure tat is how pep guardiola play his football...Also, you're comparing CL results between big clubs. Our stat was versus.. Fulham. If we pulled the same stats vs a big club DM would probably get a LOT of credit. Philosophy football under pep guardiola --> Rule Number 1: Always pass back and side ways but make sure to pass it fast and occasionally play one touch football so that we can give an impression that we are playing amazing football. Rule Number 2: When fail to retain possession, dive hard when opponent players touch you.. slightest touch is recommended.. Rule Number 3: After diving, roll on the grass like you had been hit by a truck. If camera is pointing at your face make sure you do a peekaboo... Rule Number 3: When opponent players get foul, gather all the your teammates including keeper to pressure the referee like its the worst offence in the world.. Rule Number 4: When opponent players tired, pass to Lionel Messi Rule Number 5: After goal scored, repeat rule number one. |
