i sure after this njoi will add another 2 HD channel . 1 for malay , 1 for tamil.  100% will add !!

Ok, understood. I just installed Njoi yesterday. Decoder is DMT 4  b.yond HD model. Recond set. Everything seems great. HDMI is fully functional, CH 300 HD is indeed in HD and really really looking very sharp n beautiful. The shop guy told me it is just a 1-month channel before Astro will pull it, I dont know how true. Is is the same guy who told me HDMI won't work but mine did. The GUI is also the new ones, no self update required. Everything just work out of the box and the new GUI is really slick n fast. Changing channel is nearly instant. So far no complains at all but its only been 1 day. Happy for now.

Channel 300 intermittent, once you changed to other channel then cannot get liao

Well, at least HDMI finally works now with the green NJOI decoder 

About the 300 channel, I don't hear any news about the channel being a preview for one month.

May i know the difference of TVB classic vs TVB xing he? which one nicer to watch? is astro AEC nice also?

TVB Classic broadcasts classic dramas which are older than those on TVB Xinghe. Astro AEC is a local Chinese channel that focuses on Astro Ben Di Quan (Astro Local Chinese) programmes, Singaporean, Taiwanese and China shows.

called Astro Customer Service and asked about my unused Beyond Box..

Conversion Fee : RM 99.00
To Re-Used my exising STB : RM 248.00

i was like wtf... no tq.. might as well apply for a new set..

Anyone experience cheaper conversion?

Mine was free. They just sent me the smartcard. I insert into the stb and had to call them to activate. That's all. But that was a while back. They wanted to reactivate as many of the old boxes as possible. I am with a pace byond box.

The conversion charges is RM99 and RM228 for the decoder.

Please be informed that all B.yond/PVR boxes are leased to customers by Astro. The ownership belongs to Astro,  which means customer needs to pay if want convert to Njoi. Once account is under Njoi, the set belongs to customer.
