It shows service not available on the Astro decoder, y ya? This astro account got subscribed HD service too. I hv no yet installed njoi yet, might be next week, I'm looking for all new set but they said out of stock…

Btw, I can watch astro xi Yue after few minutes…

Is there any setup required to watch this new CH300 HD with NJOI box? I have message service not available. Anyone can shed some light?

You need the new decoder with HDMI connection, or old refurbished decoder which is compatible and has been updated with FW that can enable the HDMI port.

Sure can, but I think must pay processing fee RM99/- to convert. You need to call them up.

But don't expect too much of NJOI, the more popular channels must still have to buy top-up and pay to watch. e.g Sports only got 2 channels on NJOI (801 and 817) and both only in SD and have to pay to watch.

So far only 1 HD channel in Chinese been introduced yesterday.

i sure after this njoi will add another 2 HD channel . 1 for malay , 1 for tamil. 100% will add !!

I can watch channel 300...but only visual...no audio...funny

everytime while I want to watch CH300, it will show service not available, sometimes it will make available after few minutes, and sometimes totally can't watch…

I have no problem watching CH300 all the time, with crytal clear HD image and dolby surround sound. I am using new Njoi decoder.

Yes, my decoder has HDMI connection but currently I am using S video output. Already updated to latest firmware dated Oct'14. So the condition is I must use HDMI connection. Is this correct?

1MEASAT 3A(VH) or 18MEASAT 3A(VH) .

sure can, but in different picture format and quality...

Last time I remember early days of HD TV, there were some DVD/BD players which can display 1080i (not P) to HD TV through component (YPbPr) connection.

Since Astro is using 1080i signal maybe their decoder can also do the same. As an experiment, try connecting through component cable see if can watch Ch 300 or not. Also check if any noticeable diff , image in HD or just SD. I also curious to know what Mun88 is talking about.

(Note:- I can't try myself because I don't have Astro yet, LOL
