i just got myself a very late birthday present, a RG Justice Gundam, good purchase...
My question is, I dont have the proper tools to begin assembly as yet, as i see a lot of people have a lot of cutter, knifes, etc... and I still have BB1M, if i go to popular bookstore, can I get the tools needed to at least begin assembly? what i see is cutter, modelling knife, cutting mat and markers are the basic tools to have, is my budget RM100 can fit? or must spend a lot more? what more tools do i need? |

QUOTE(xKAIZERUx @ Apr 22 2014, 12:38 AM) i just got myself a very late birthday present, a RG Justice Gundam, good purchase... Go to Mr.DIY to get a cutter (RM 3-4), cutting mat (RM 8-10) and a tweezer (RM 2-3). If you're lucky you may find modelling knife or hobby knife there, shouldn't cost more than 10, but proper modelling knife is advised. Then get a black panel line marker for RM10-12.My question is, I dont have the proper tools to begin assembly as yet, as i see a lot of people have a lot of cutter, knifes, etc... and I still have BB1M, if i go to popular bookstore, can I get the tools needed to at least begin assembly? what i see is cutter, modelling knife, cutting mat and markers are the basic tools to have, is my budget RM100 can fit? or must spend a lot more? what more tools do i need? |

QUOTE(carpathia @ Apr 22 2014, 08:39 AM) yup, my first. sorry if i dont know nothing, tried to watch videos, but all about advance coloring, advance stuff.tried to find basic cutting, saperating tips, but only found wall of text without pics and videos.... yesterday tried to saperate and assemble few leg parts using just knife, but results were not as good, and one part i accidently cut deeper, after that stopped cutting and keep the gundam in the box back. until i can have proper cutter n modelling knife, that is. |
