Please provide wake lock details.

Personal opinion for rooted phones: really feel those apps are not needed. Just need to understand what is preventing your phone from deep sleep/wakelocks and take appropriate actions for them.

Might be useful for non-root phone.

That is bad. What are you on, wifi or 3g/lte? Any background apps running? If on wifi, set wifi scanning off, on mobile try use 3g,reduce usage on lte. Any more info can provide?

My damage is RM 130 (ultra hybrid + neo hybrid + xtreme guard back and screen protector). Cheapest accessories damage among my nexus devices. All bought before I bought my phone and before USD increase

Don't think CWM has this function. Either use this EFS backup or flash TWRP recovery and backup

Make sure the google drivers are the latest. Try enable/disable MTP.

both are good recovery but I favors the functions in TWRP

Don't see much difference from AirDroid? Other than unlimited transfer.

Yeah, not much difference then other than the transfer sizes.
I usually use Airdroid when transfer files < 100mb, else I use cable. I watch youtube/streams/show/movie more on my N7. But it's cool

So far all my apps no problem with ART. For now ART is still new, so the speed difference between Dalvik and ART is small.

Nexus devices so far don't have native OTG support so need to use 3rd party app. If you're rooted, use StickMount

You play around UV (just don't decrease too much) until your phone is good with the values

Strange. I played around a lot with UV since the beginning and found that for my phone UV -75mV is best (if lower will have problem) for overall; no lag, no random reboots, no app crashing; no "not responsive" apps.

If this persist, recommend go one step higher UV -50mV. Good luck to you
