Mine is a good present from a Google Dev in Silicon Valley and he's generous enough to offer me a Nexus 5 32GB @ $309 (about RM 1150 I think so), so I definitely bought it! thumbup.gif

Yep, it's a Spigen Neo Hybrid Case, Champagne Gold variant. I don't know if it's available in M'sia coz I bought it overseas.

if shooting under low light, disable HDR then you can change the scene to Night or the white balance to incandescent or flourescent.

then set the exposure to +1 or +2 if not enough bright.

android need to add the ISO, aperture and speed setting to their camera app.  shakehead.gif
if you want those function, u can try to install third party app.

Wakelock- a privileged feature that keep the CPU awake, even when the phone is in sleep mode. Usually the top most app would be the culprit in diminishing your battery, but since Google apps are on top (dial and search), I would say it is okay. Just give it another go and see if the results are changing.

What do you mean by "cannot use your phone"? As in it can't turn on? It can't go to recovery?

I checked back your past post and reported suspected corrupted efs. Bro @cientoo recommend to try to flash back to stock. Try follow the instructions in the xda link he provided.

Just spend 6 minutes listen and watch this video. Understand what is wakelock and then understand what the app is showing you.

When you greenify whatsapp, you will get the message; just you don't get the notification that notify you that you have a new message. (unless you're using the app)

Does anyone know if I can get a replacement for my Nexus 5? Already owned for 1 month and unit bought from Australian Google Play Store. My unit was defective (Yellow lines on screen and dead speaker) and was hoping can get replacement without going back to Aus.

Is the warranty valid here? Maybe can get it fixed from LG. Even if its not, do you think they will still repair it?

Have friends going back to Aus in 2 weeks. Could possibly ask them to take it back for me and get it fixed. Is it safe for them to send it back by mail?

EDIT: Forgot to mention I haven't rooted it yet.

Sadly, LG does not have international warranty. The only way if you want to claim warranty is send it back to LG Australia. You can try to ask LG Malaysia. Good luck thumbup.gif

Edit: Courier back just scare custom hold and ask to pay sirim. You can try write "Return from repair" on the parcel (that's what I ask my relative to write on the parcel, and this avoid sirim for me tongue.gif )

LG's customer service is pretty good. Ask Nexus 4 users why.
But if LG can introduce International warranty it'll be much better.

LG SC won't repair devices that aren't officially available in Malaysia because they don't have spare parts. Some technicians only have the Nexus 5 prototype devices. They can't pull parts from their device to fix your phone can't they? wink.gif

Cannot use because it can't detect my sim card. It does not get a network signal. And sometimes it reboots a few times in a row.

Tried all the methods already. Reflashed official rom etc but still no dice.

If can't detect sim card,
you may wish to get new sim and try again.
