cuz note 3 has bigger screen and better battery..

Same thinking here, N5 should be cheap on price with a compromise on camera, battery life and memory card.

True, but I'm tired of Samsung's ugly UI.

And no, I don't fancy rooting etc.

I've used The S3, the Note 2 and now the Note 3. I'm severely under-utilising all these fancy hardware features that Samsung put into their phones.

About time I experience a superior OS and UI over superior hardware.

is included the telco plan or phone only?

IF u bought the phone only. it would be awesome man ..:thumbup.gif

PS:16 Gb or 32GB?

I wish it was from the telcos. Its device only, from Japan (therefore LTE is supported).

Its a 16GB variant.

Yeah, and since I'm already using a Nexus 7, might as well change to a Nexus phone too!

I feel 5" and 7" is way too close to warranty using the Nexus 7 on a regular basis lol. 8" is a different story though tongue.gif

My friend has a note 8.i used it (borrow for 2 days and play) and the 1 inch is not that much of a big deal for me (compare to my n7 la). I would prefer development and updates over a little bigger screen tongue.gif

seems like your network connectivity drain more battery than gaming, looks abnormal. what's your cell network signal strength in dBm value? and also data network in LTE? H+?
*

Currently at around -90 to -100dBm. Mine is D820 so at most is HSPA, and I set it to 3G because of unsupported LTE band

QUOTE(xxdesire @ Feb 13 2014, 11:35 AM)
Um, you do know if you do sync your stuff to Google, they has most of your info not just location  sweat.gif

it seems on data is draining battery. Is your network signal strong? (check dBm in phone info) also check your network mode.
*
I disable sync so they wont know haha. Dont use Google+ or Gmail either, the Gmail is just to use Android only. Signal strength at work is -90 to -100dBm

I would at least recommend to root (if you dont want flash it's ok) so you can utilize those root apps. But it's your device, your choice tongue.gif

Most likely depend on your hand's size, let's see what rumored HTC nexus tablet will be. Unibody body with 'improved' ultrapixel sensor brows.gif

It's a big deal for me as I feel the difference is big lol. An 8" tablet probably has like 30% more screen real estate compared to a 7" tablet.

I can palm both 7 inch and 8 inch tablet (8 inch refering to the thinner bezel tablets like the Memopad 8 or G Pad 8.3) so there's no reason to pick a 7 inch tablet. Unless you can't palm the 8 inch then I guess it might be a deciding factor.

I've used a Nexus 7 and 10 before but I feel the Nexus 7 is too small, there's very little reason why I would want to switch to the Nexus 7 when I had a 4.8" smartphone with me (that time a Galaxy SIII), because of that underutilization I sold it off after 1-2 weeks. Then I got myself a Nexus 10 just to play around with it, it was great and all despite being an aged device but the problem is mobility due to the size and weight. I bring it out less because of this and it's usually lying around in my house and when I'm at home I never use it because I have my gaming desktop with me. So, I sold it off. Before people start shooting me that I'm a richfag or what, I'm not, that's why I buy both tablets 2nd hand because I was just "testing" them and I sold it off at slight profit or no loss at all.

And now my only choice is the 8" tablets I guess, the Memopad 8 is very interesting due to its price point (below RM550) but the delay in launching apps/side scrolling/etc is a bit frustrating especially when you have tried a much higher end device like our Nexus 5. I'll wait for the G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition to become mainstream here first or drop price or to wait for Nexus 8 or I might give the Nexus 10 a chance if its much lighter like the Ipad Air or Tablet Z wub.gif

IMHO being able to palm a 8 inch tablet would be a crucial factor because if you can palm it, you would choose a 8inch over a 7inch any day (my opinion la)

But if you can't palm it, then it would be treated like a normal 10" tablet where you have to use 2 hands to navigate through it which would make more sense getting a 7" if you prefer top palm it using one hand and the other to use the touchscreen functions

Any idea if there are any wireless charging pads for sale in KL?

Where and what's the price range we're talking about here?

Cheers.

There are some Nilkin wireless charging pad sellers here in the forum. RM70-100 I guess <--- Bulk price.

But if you want ready stock, be prepared to show more $$$ sweat.gif

For official charger it's RM200+ sweat.gif
