QUOTE(kwayteow @ Sep 17 2014, 03:41 PM) As far as I know, Malaysian units are all 4GB ones. Make sure the one you saw is local, not imported from outside. It may affect the warranty if it's imported. oh really ar ? i just saw few seller selling 2Gb version.at lower price around 3.1k.maybe need to ask about the warranty

I have a few questions about the y50 battery & headset. Since Y50 doesn't include removable battery [battery sealing in the chassis], can it still function just by using plug without battery in it?
About the headphone, I never have laptop that using a 'Audio Combo Jack (headphone and mic)' & I'm really confused right now because some website says it must use 2.5mm port & some said 3.5mm port....I already try use Philips SHM1900 3.5 mm headset & I also try using 2.5mm nokia phone headset but both can't fit into the port.....So I want to ask what type of headphone that suit for Y50? Can I use USB Headset? Thank u

Hi Guys, i having problem registering the extended warranty. The error message is Serial Number invalid, but i sure enter it correctly. My concern is the Product ID, in the Lenovo SAP web site it mention the Product ID is 4 characters. But I cant find it at the sticker lable nor underneath the laptop itself. The closest i found is Model Number, but is a 5 digit code. Any advise? Thank you.

Is this the dell inspiron you are talking about? http://www.dell.com/my/p/inspiron-14-7437/pdIf yes, it is only a intel hd graphic, which provides very basic graphic processing. If you want to game/ photoshop/ movie editing, then Y50 should be your choice without even thinking. If it's just normal surfing web, then the dell inspiron might be better as the intel hd graphic is not battery hungry at all compare to Y50. Although, Y50 will have intel hd graphics in it as well if I'm not mistaken as my old y580 have both intel hd and nvidia gpu.
