If you have a laptop ad, may as well save up more so next time can buy a better 1.. if you don't and currently planning to buy 1.. and is not in urgent, then wait for the new gc lo

It depends.. If after you config your S5 and the price is almost the same, then S5 as Illegear got better after sale service.. But I think Asus will be cheaper in term of price spec ratio cause it comes with 128 SSD

Make sure you ask Asus seller whether you can add in your extra ram yourself or not, cause some manufacturer will void your warranty once you open your back-lit or scratch the warranty sticker.

Do note that S5 default is w/o OS, and you can add in stuff yourself as long as you don't damage the component.. if found damaged, no replacement for u..

I personally recommend S5 as that's the initial laptop I want to buy before falling down to get a Z5 due to budget.
It's slim and have 3 heatsink+fan+heatpipe.. It should be cooler than other slim gaming laptop.

P/S: If you want to game on all demanding game on Ultra 1080p settings, 3/4gb vram is not enough for u..

Acer V Nitro is the better IMO.. Y50 got heat issue.. But the vram is 4gb lar.. Nitro just 2gb.. But won't make much different cause 860m cant play on ultra 1080p.. yet along 3k..

If you're not in hurry, wait for new Nvidia card.. I think it will be like last time 800 series card.. will be budget type gc.. since it will most likely be around this month so you can consider wait a bit longer..

P/S: if you wanna top up more can consider Illegear.. IMO Z5 is the best among other laptop w/ 860m
my max temperature after 2hrs++ BF4 on high settings 1080p is 60+ degree c only

But most msi mid range laptop tend to have heat issue.. i dont think a laptop having heat issue can last that long..

Can read write Blue-ray disc lo.. normal DVD player can't read or write BR disc.. It cost a few hundred bucks also.. if you didn't burn CD then can pass it.. no use.. For video, not like you want to buy original Blue Ray movie which cost 100+ right ?

I found 17.3'' a bit big for me.. just your preference lo.. V15 also is LG-IPS screen.. just smaller

4GB vram for me not much use.. cause we cant play much high demanding game on ultra or high 1080p.. Cause only those high / ultra settings require so much vram.. For multi-monitor/rendering I not sure.. I think won't affect much ba.. rendering / editing stuff gtx series can't do much pun.. Quadro series is better
