ive downloaded v0.87 earlier this morning but after installing it, i was unable to open bitcomet - only thing that came up was errors. lol any other users facing the same problem as me? smile.gif

*edit: the error i get is:

hrmmm... all i can say that running 0.87 with vista home premium is not good... it will hang periodiocally.... hang ok hang ok hang ok... wat da... now using back 2 0.86...

i didnt do port forwarding but using upnp had help me get full speed 60kbps for my 512kbps line.

The newer version 0.86 onwards, eat a lot of upload speed, this may totally affected ur download rate.

I've tried older version it can run up at 100KB/s but unstable.
Tuotu is only 70-80KB/s max.

ya, set upload at 30KB/s, but it uses 50 and above of upload rate which shown by DU meter.

and ping to DNS, a lot of timeout.

oh yeah,im on a 512k line.best download speeds i get is around 40-50kbps.

If we enable upnp in our router setting, should be unblock upnp framework in windows firewall as well?

Which Bitcomet version should be the best to download since TM had throttled our BT connection.

Start from 0.70 till 0.89, u all recommend which version?

Without VPN, Proxy involved.

For myself, I've tested V0.84 is the best of all. Average speed at 60-80kb/s

btw, i just test from v0.71 till v0.84 only
the version that later than v0.84 didnt even try before...

i've tried it, dunno whether is program buggy or TM trick, 0.84 onwards eaten a lot of upload speed and become all the connections congested.
