i think we can share our international with local peers, so that we hav improve speed. after 20 jan if tmnut promise, maybe we can hav bit more connection/speed thru international peers

... I'm from Ipoh as well ( Tmn Cempaka area ) . I think it should be the EQ problem coz before the EQ i can still torrent from international peers at 40~60kbs, no portforwarding etc. Recently when i came back for my sem break it only dropped to 0~10 kbs ...

1 more, 2 days ago i was downloading some anime and i got around 27kbs constant for a few hours; 55 peers, international ( shud be coz i dun see 60.48,49 or 219, 218 ) but when i came back today and run my utorrent i can't even connect .

Last time, i did port forwarding to my bitcomet and everything was fine.Connection was ok and speed was good as well.I am able to connect remote peers and local as well..

The problem is, i cant connect to remote peers already.It is stuck with only local ones.Even if i reconfigure my port fowarding and listening port as well as changing IP addresses, its just the same.I cant connect to remote peers..May i know what might be the problem that is happening?

O..so this is due to the submarine line problem?Everyone else having the same issue?The reason i am asking is because last time in my hometown (during the cable problem thing), i am still able to connect to remote seeds but when i switch back to KL, its a different story..Only having local ones..

u can configure it manualy...

I dont think you need to download any software.There is a few procedures that you must follow to do port forwarding.Anyway, there is plenty of links that will help you perform port forwarding at the first post of the thread.I personally find this one very useful in helping me get some good speed..

TV3 news yesterday(Jan 15) says the submarine cable repairs will take another 2 weeks, that means it will be fully repaired by 1st week of February(unless there is another earthquake!).
If by February things are still NOT ok that means TMNet is really useless.

what means by ban ip for 5 minutes/1 hour/24hours???

that means we disconnect that data to transfer from that address??

even now they are useless already.. both Taiwan and Singapore only took them 2 days after the earthquake to fix their cables.. we now like at least 3 weeks after the quake but still they haven't fix the undersea cables.. i don't know if TMNet know the meaning for the word shameful or not..

mostly ppl use it for blocking the connections which they suspect no flow of data occuring...

btw, you all can ban ip after v0.70 version??
i notice that only some ip can be ban only in v0.81
the version before v0.81 cant ban ip at all
