when i read the news, koppassus just get ready when needed.. cause day before news spread and telling us there are 2 stolen passport, and maybe it used by hijacker or terrorist.. they have done this before.. on operation Woyla when Garuda Indonesia 206 hijacked..

they just answering question from indonesian media, "what if that plane hijacked?" and of course they will say "we will ready for combat".. cause 7 indonesia people also on that missing plane too.. but u know media right? make bombastic title to attract reader..

VIVAnews - Sejumlah negara ikut mengerahkan bantuan atas hilangnya pesawat Malaysia Airlines dengan nomor penerbangan MH 370 pada Sabtu 8 Maret 2014. Hingga kini belum diketahui penyebab hilangnya pesawat
jenis Boeing 777-200 ER itu.

Sempat beredar kabar bahwa kemungkinan adanya aksi teror yang menyebabkan hilangnya pesawat Malaysia Airlines. Pesawat membawa 277 penumpang, 12 orang kru pesawat. Dari 277 penumpang, tujuh diantaranya adalah warga negara Indonesia.

Sementara itu, Kepala Pusat Penerangan Komando Pasukan Khusus (Kopassus), Letnan Kolonel Inf Jo Sembiring, mengaku Kopassus selalu siap kapan pun dibutuhkan. Meski begitu, sampai saat ini belum ada arahan dari pucuk pimpinan tertinggi TNI untuk diterjunkan.

"Sampai saat ini belum ada arahan. Namun demikian, kami akan selalu siap. Apapun pasukan, termasuk pasukan khusus Penanggulangan Terorisme yang ada juga telah dalam posisi siap jika sewaktu-waktu diperlukan," kata Letkol Inf Jo Sembiring kepada VIVAnews, Minggu 9 Maret 2014.

Spekulasi adanya aksi teror terhadap Malaysia Airlines terungkap dalam manifes penumpang. Dimana terdapat identitas empat penumpang warga negara Eropa yang mencurigakan.

Menteri Transportasi Malaysia Hishammuddin Hussein mengatakan dua dari penumpang warga negara Eropa itu menggunakan paspor palsu, dua lainnya tidak bisa dikonfirmasi identitasnya.

Penyelidikan kemungkinan aksi terorisme dilakukan oleh Malaysia dibantu oleh Biro Investigasi Federal Amerika (FBI) yang mengirim personelnya ke Malaysia.

"Saya telah bicara dengan badan intelijen internasional untuk membantu kami, dan saya akan bertemu dengan mereka sore ini," kata Hishammuddin.

Dia mengatakan telah mengantungi keempat nama orang itu, namun belum bisa membeberkannya. Dua di antara penumpang ilegal itu memegang paspor palsu warga Austria dan Italia. Tercantum dalam manifes nama mereka adalah Christian Kozel (30) dari Austria dan Luigi Maraldi (37) dari Italia.

Namun dalam penelusuran, Kozel ada di rumahnya di Wina, Austria. Sedangkan pemerintah Italia mengonfirmasi tidak ada warganya di pesawat itu. Kozel mengaku paspornya dicuri dua tahun lalu saat mengunjungi Thailand.

"Hanya ada dua penumpang dengan paspor palsu. Kami telah memiliki rekaman CCTV kedua penumpang ini. Rekaman itu sedang diselidiki," kata Hishammuddin.

"Di saat yang sama, intelijen kami telah digerakkan, dan tentu saja, unit pemberantasan terorisme dari seluruh negara terkait telah dihubungi," kata dia lagi. (sj)

U.S. Government Providing Assistance Following the Disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH 370

Kuala Lumpur - The United States Government continues to closely follow the developments regarding Malaysia Airlines flight MH 370 and is assisting the Malaysian Government with search and rescue efforts. We extend our thoughts and prayers to the loved ones of those on board the Malaysia Airlines flight.

At the request of the Malaysian Government, the United States Navy has dispatched two ships, the USS Pinckney and the USNS John Ericsson, to assist in the search and rescue efforts. The USS Pinckney (DDG 91), an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, arrives on scene this afternoon to assist in the search of the area. The ship carries two MH-60R helicopters which can be equipped for search and rescue. The USNS John Ericsson, a replenishment oiler operated by the Military Sealift Command, sailed from Singapore this morning to support the search and rescue efforts.

In addition to the ships, a U.S. Navy P-3C Orion aircraft departed from Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan this morning and has begun to search the area. The aircraft brings long-range search, radar and communications capabilities to the efforts.

Beyond the search and rescue efforts, the U.S. Government is continuing to assist the Malaysian Government and Malaysia Airlines with their investigation into the aircraft’s disappearance. Teams from the National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration are currently are en route to the region to offer assistance. In addition, U.S. Embassy-based representatives from U.S. law enforcement agencies are in contact with their Malaysian counterparts.

lepas ni harap ada peruntukan khas untuk Angkatan Tentera Malaysia(ATM) untuk beli paling kurang kapal Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD).. jangan terlalu berharap kepada USA.
