it comes with sticker on it; and reflective skin on top to prevent heat to bonnet. Yeap, i did cut according to the bonnet bone frames; but certain portion is tricky... hence not nicely applied... hahahahah.

only the right hand side, some curvy portion is peeling off... but luckily only 1 pcs la.

as for the rest, i did it outside... for both my Vios and Focus.

Hey guys, i installed the pedal lock on my vios when i got it from SA. Didnt really test it on the spot. When i went back, found out that even when i pull the lock already, im still able to push start the car after pressing the pedal. Called SA and he says that since this is plug and play, the function is to prevent thief from getting access to your wiring to push start the car. So if you have the remote on your hand, you still can push start the car even after u lock it. If want those really cannot push start one need those cut the wiring type which might void the warranty of the car. Just wanna know if its true?

Nope. There's suppose to be a plug n play socket so tat u cnt start ur car when u lock

Maybe they took it out to cut cost

Wat brand did u fix n how much did that cost u

new vios 2015 still got roof noise, engine mounting and lower arm problem ?
still no yet make decision

so far only the right hand side portion fell off.. perhaps its the non sticky sticker surface issue.

i still got extra, perhaps can re-apply this weekend~

is it LockTech brand?

i ask before last time, its not functional on PushStart models. Not sure if LockTech had come up with a newer model that works with PushStart setup.

However, you still preventing thieves from driving your car since the brake pedal is totally shut off.

I'm year 2014 owner, not so sure about newer ones.

coz i want find problem free car , 3year car i driving now got problem

I just took delivery of my 2015 Toyota Vios few days ago, 30th July to be correct....took the TRD Sportivo spec as I wanted the sports look of it....till now also no time to take out the plastic coverings on the seat due to working night shift 12 hours a day....morning go back and sleep and evening wake up and go to work....

so far the car itself is smooth and quiet, sound insulation for the door sides are good enough for me but I think the roof need to improve ler....over here in Penang, it havent rain for about a week or so I cannot really comment so much on it but got time few small branch of a tree outside my house or maybe some bird poop fell on the roof and I noticed the Milo tin sound quite briefly....huhuhu....

I hope Im wrong here but if Im not then I need to consider doing the sound insulation for the roof as I plan to use this car for the next 5 years....if only there is a good sound insulation workshop like our forumers here in Penang, I would have got it done in next few days....

on another note, I noticed a small defect at the rubber seal of the driver side door.....the rubber itself is a bit flakey, like not completely moulded when manufactured.....any idea if SC can change it FOC for me?

roof can be solved

engine mounting and lower arm... not really possible

I just got my car week ago.. Found out when through the road bump, front wheel make some noise and some vibration noise on dashboard near cluster.

anyone of you have this kind of problem ? how to solve it ?

I realised there was a scratching sound when I turned on the engine and left the car running in idle mode while wearing my shoes before I go to work earlier....it was just for a while but I need to continue to monitor if occur again or not....

besides that, the slight worn out of rubber seal at the drivers side door and roof sounding like a tin when raining....no other complains....

told u earlier haha.. the most infamous problem of engine mounting & lower arm + rattling noise and many more waiting u to discover

the knocking noise still there...

So sorry to say that currently sc unable to solve both problems
you may arrange to change engine mounting but the sound still appear

it can only be minimized but not elminated.

when went through bump, the noise produce is related to Engine mounting or lower arm ?

for my case, its engine mounting.. RH side unit.

If this is the case, how long can it last after change a new one ?

the noise produced when went through those small plastic-made bumper and the road condition is not good (small hole and etc) is because of e.mounting/lower arm? and how to check? send back to SC? the noise is annoying .....
