Horse sashimi....hmmm....taste like raw beef to me. The one I ordered came with a portion of pure horse fats.Travel Travel to Japan V4, Discover Japan start here.

QUOTE(Clueless07 @ Jun 2 2014, 06:01 PM) Hi- i will be travelling to Osaka later this week- with my 2 young boys. Yup- agreed it is too many places to visit- and too little time. Just proceed as planned and don't bother asking here. I see some jokers trying to be arrogant telling others not doing their homework bla bla bla. They could have chosen not to answer instead of being arrogant.Itineray as follow - Day 1- arrival at 7am- Proceed to Rinku JPO. Check to Swissotel @ Namba late afternoon and hang around Dotombori in the evening. Day 2- Osaka Castle, River Cruise, Umeda Floating Gargen. Day 3- Kyoto Kinkakuji Temple, Nishiki Market, Kiyomizudera Temple Day 4- Universal Studio- whole day. Day 5 -Kuromon Ichiba Market, Minoo park,Nippombashi Den-den Town, May be a hot spring/spa. Day 6- Osaka Aquarium Kaikuyan, Tempozan Ferris Wheel and Market, Santa Maria Cruise The schedule really seems to be light- any idea to fill in more activities? 1. I got a few more specific question- there are a few river cruise- any recommendation is worth to take? 2. Kani Dorako- it is worth going? i've made booking but some comment say it is nothing special. 3. Spa world- seems to be in door, commercialized type in artificial environment. Any good nature spa to recommend? Many thanks in advance. Anyway what's nice for the fellow might not be nice for your kid. As a kid i'm pretty sure they would like the idea of visiting a castle cruising on a small boat and experience some other stuff where adult would not enjoy. QUOTE(ZombieLand @ Jun 2 2014, 11:43 PM) If that is the case I think I need to have both icoca and Kansai thru pass correct? Is my itinerary appropriate ? At the end you might need a Haruka & Icoca pass for you to travel between airport and city, so Icoca is a must anyway.. Icoca is like an octopus card in hong kong.. other than travel, you can use it to buy drinks in mostly all vending machine or food.. Kansai thru pass can let you access all transport station beside JR and buses in a designated area.. you need to check it on their website thou.. I can't tell you is worth or not, you have do the math yourself with hyperdia.com to check is it worth getting the pass or just use normal ticket.. see which one is the cheaper option.. Edit : travel between osaka and kyoto with JR according to hyperdia is 560 yen and only in JR... if you are travelling alot between , get JR west pass? if not just get the kansai thru pass.. Itinerary is based on person interest, just make sure that the route are smooth and not wasting time travel back and forth(like me, huge mistake and waste time in Kyoto This post has been edited by jepertine90: Jun 5 2014, 10:38 AM |

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Jun 6 2014, 08:48 PM) Thanks for your prompt reply. I forgot that I have already bought the return ticket from Osaka My friends and I will be landing in Tokyo first, then go Hakone and finally Kyoto. Now I am thinking whether should I split from my gang when they visit Hakone, and go straight to Kyoto instead. Could save some of my penny? By the way, does anyone know the cheapest route to travel from Hakone's Owakudani (大湧谷) to Kyoto? |
