Is not only cheap, It also have to make sense also.  You going Japan vacation and you bring back French chocolate as gift?
That will be so disappoint.

Same like I going French but I bring back Sushi to you as gift.  Sushi made from French Chef.  Instead I bring you French Wine.

You will be so Dafuq......
*
the point of gifting (for me personally) is that it must be well worth it, comes from the heart (not the place) and it's useful and specific to the person u are giving it to. no point in giving a pack of cigars to someone who doesn't appreciate it, no point in giving a car to someone who doesn't know and want to drive.

same here, i bought these chocolate to those who knows how to appreciate them, if i bought Meiji, then they would just say thank you and keep them until they rot or melts.

this is a deeply personal thing, so i don't meant anyone to agree or follow me, just letting u guys know the logic behind my thinking.

not going to the Tsukiji fish market is like not eating any fish in Japan. Just don't bother to go there for the fish auction if u r not into that kind of stuff. go there at 9am and eat until noon, it's worth every second.

Skytree he say "You can also worm your way to one of the observation decks — that is, if you want to invest hours in waiting your turn." which is not accurate oso, you just need to go, take that entrance time ticket thing and then go shopping mall walk aroudn and makan while waiting, not too bad what.

Tsukiji fish market ... sort of agree actually. If you're a foodie then I'd say it's a must go (sort of like a pilgrimage LOL) but otherwise it's just a a big market tongue.gif

Im thinking of going to Japan on 10th of January 2015 to 18th of January 2015. Going to land in KIX (Kansai) and then depart from HND (Haneda).

During this period I'm thinking of visiting osaka/kyoto/hakone/tokyo.

As i don't have much days, which place should i prioritise ?

Hmm should i go for

10th ,11th ,12th Osaka then 13th, 14th Kyoto then 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th Tokyo ?

My flight time is awkward. Reaching at 10pm on 10th of January.

Thinking of taking a day earlier which has more favourable flight time which will change my schedule to below,

9th & 10th Osaka
11th,12th,13th Kyoto
14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th Tokyo

Is there any city that i am missing out ?

It all depends you want a quality trip, or just I have been there trip. Asking any city you missed out, our admin probably have no problem in asking you to take train round the Honshu island.

Tentatively, your schedule looks good.

Pretty sure you have the answer. Your formal schedule as you said, reaching late. While you may have no problem getting a place to sleep, but paying for half a night is not what I would do (at least for me).

The latter one is favorable.

I should be able to get a refund for Icoca and purchase shinkansen ticket at Shin-Osaka JR office right, is it from the same counter?

Also, from Osaka to Tokyo, the ticket price for Nozomi and Hikari are the same at 13,620 for unreserved. Anything wrong here? Nozomi is faster than Hikari but same price ar?

I know reserved seat is slightly more expensive at 310 yen but i am planning to take the unreserved seat...

Yes you can. But within that long journey from Osaka to Tokyo. If you take Unreserve seat, if you move away from your seat to toilet or canteen or anything. Someone will take over your seat.

You have to standing all the way to Tokyo already. smile.gif smile.gif
