Hi there...would like to have some advice on these...currently using OXY powder lotion (which contains alcohol, is it ok for me to continue using it?><) I've mild acne problem and some redness (not sure what it is@@) on my cheeks and around the jawline area...is it advisable for me to use the recommended regimen?>< only Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser and Neutrogena oil-free moisture will do??and ohya, fyi I'm having oily type of skin~thanks in advance

Alcohol is an irritant, so refrained from using it if you are acne prone skin.
I am also an oily face = able to fry eggs.
I use cetaphil cleanser, avene spring water, benzac 5%, clindamycine 1%.
I moisturize at night using cetaphil cream.
Day time I just stay on avene as needed.
Pimple getting smaller.

Hello everyone.
I just come across this thread since im too curios about my acne problem. I have combination skin (I guess) and not an acne-prone skin. But when the acne come, its not like normal acne with white-spot-on-top when its about to heal. This acne embedded deep under my skin. No one can notice it unless if u touch it. No pain, no marks. But gradually the skin become red and finally become a scar, while the lump still there. Previously i pop it out and pinched it to the max since i have no other ways to get rid of it. Success! But the scar is still there. Worse than that, that part got dent. Oh my..
Sometimes it comes and go by itself. But it takes months for it to go and i still cant figure out how to get rid of it. I googled about it and read about something called cystic acne and i wonder if im actually having cystic acne which they said as a moderate to severe type of acne. They also said that if i go to the skin clinic, the only way to solve it is by using steroid injection (with 'denting' side effect) or perform small surgery, cut that thing out, which scares me.
Another way is by using Benzoyl Peroxide (which i just bought today and i bought BP 10%!) or Salicylic acid. Gonna try it first coz i dont think other creams/gels can penetrate through to the lump.Ahh... I just dunno what to do. This time it looks like this lump wont go away easily.
Someone please help me with this.
Same thing with me, I am always having this problem but, as for the hardening pimple mark, it will fade as time goes by. I have no idea if there is any thing that will aid for the speed of diminish.
Can some one help me too? I want speedy gone bye bye..
BP 10% is too harsh, try starting with 5%
