I found that I for sure will grow acne once I take cheese. I believe maybe you girls need to find out what food you allergy with. Then just avoid those food.

I tried Roaccutane before. I really made my skin feel EXTREMELY dry. Not only face, but whole body skin T_T
By the way, I highly recommend Dr. Ting @ Jln Imbi. I grow acne since 2006. And the acne problem solved when I met this doctor in 2011. If you girls are in KL, why not give it a try? smile.gif

Or alternatively, girls can learn to understand their skin and acne better by taking better care of it.

Here's a useful info about "How to cure acne in 3 days"

I think within a week can see; even now it's amazing.

No need to apply any cream etc. on my face.

Just Cetaphil alone did it.
The dark marks are slowly fading away.
No harm trying.

I spent almost RM100 on Oxy, T3 pimple, T3 Mycin, Tea Tree Oil and Bio-Oil.
Waste.

Wish I tried Cetaphil sooner  sweat.gif

Did you add in any on-the-spot treatment into your regimen just in case you have occasional break-out?

I still remember when Panoxyl was discontinued in Malaysia, we decided to swap Panoxyl with Benzac. And Benzac was quite difficult to obtain in Malaysia. Therefore I wrote an email to Galderma for a proposal - to combine its Benzac and Cetaphil and sell it as a package since both are Galderma products. The sales will be encouraging.

Galderma did not reply to my proposal and however, when I googled around recently to find out where to get Benzac since you can't find it in major pharmacies anymore, I found the 2 products were sold in package in Australia. Hopefully Galderma could bring it to Malaysia. It will be a good product to share with everyone anyone.

I've notice Benzac is more easily available these days. The big tube and small tube easily found in most Caring pharmacies.
The other day when I bought Benzac, it came together with a small sample of Cetaphil for Oily Skin. I think the Oily skin cleanser is newly introduced in Malaysia. Hence the sample size. Couldn't find full size one for the cleanser.

Hi every1..
Panoxyl Acnegel is not discontinued in Malaysia. I just bought mine today in Caring Pharmacy. This Acnegel is De-listed from Caring Pharmacy, however there is still 1 outlet ordering and selling this gel, it is in The Mines shopping center, KL. There are 5 pcs left in their stock...

Hi Jin Yee,

Been following the posts. Would like to seek your opinion on spots/marks/blemish on the face after having pimples. Seems like its dark reddish mark like that. Any ways to diminish the marks?

Thanks!

hmmm quite an interesting topic here, i've been suffering from severe acne problems back then(2003-2010) and now it's getting better by time, i think i've discovered few secrets in maintaining acne-prone skin(well i don't know whether hormones play important roles in here but since it's fading away, so i'm going to share few things).

1st and very important thing is to avoid touching your skin! no not at all!
if u feel extremely itchy and unavoidable, use the back of your hand to rub it away, not the palm side as it has more bacteria than the back ones.

2nd thing is cleanser, i've tried many over-the-counter products, u name it, i've had them all on my face, none of them were working. One day my friend recommended Clinique. So i gave it a try, only the acne facial bar, just that, i've noticed a drastic improvement of my skin. What i could conclude here is, the soap has no fragrance and colour, hence this kind of cleanser is good. Now i'm using Simple products as the replacement for Clinique. 10x cheaper and works the same. Good huh?

3rdly, pillowcase, change it more often, like twice a week, it helps alot! i mean it!

4th, sleep! get enough sleep! i've been observing this matter the most, if i had enough sleep, there will be no pimple coming out, during stress time, which i had insufficient sleep, they will come out, but not as bad as before, just mild ones.

Conclusions

1.DO NOT TOUCH YOUR SKIN!

2.GENTLE CLEANSER(COLORLESS,NO FRAGRANCE,LESS SOAP)

3.REGULARLY CHANGE PILLOWCASE.

4.GET SUFFICIENT SLEEP.

Good luck! gambateh!

hi, i wanna ask. i'm using benzac + moisturizer. sometimes i can feel the dryness on the face so i decide to apply garnier aqua defense essence(which i stop using when i start to use use benzac).
however, i feel my face like burning once i apply the essence. i used that essence quite long time but no such thing happen before.. and now it happen even though i apply it without previous benzac application.

is there any problem?

Hello everyone.

I just come across this thread since im too curios about my acne problem. I have combination skin (I guess) and not an acne-prone skin. But when the acne come, its not like normal acne with white-spot-on-top when its about to heal. This acne embedded deep under my skin. No one can notice it unless if u touch it. No pain, no marks. But gradually the skin become red and finally become a scar, while the lump still there. Previously i pop it out and pinched it to the max since i have no other ways to get rid of it. Success! But the scar is still there. Worse than that, that part got dent. Oh my..

Sometimes it comes and go by itself. But it takes months for it to go and i still cant figure out how to get rid of it. I googled about it and read about something called cystic acne and i wonder if im actually having cystic acne which they said as a moderate to severe type of acne. They also said that if i go to the skin clinic, the only way to solve it is by using steroid injection (with 'denting' side effect) or perform small surgery, cut that thing out, which scares me.

Another way is by using Benzoyl Peroxide (which i just bought today and i bought BP 10%!) or Salicylic acid. Gonna try it first coz i dont think other creams/gels can penetrate through to the lump.Ahh... I just dunno what to do. This time it looks like this lump wont go away easily.

Someone please help me with this.
