hmmm quite an interesting topic here, i've been suffering from severe acne problems back then(2003-2010) and now it's getting better by time, i think i've discovered few secrets in maintaining acne-prone skin(well i don't know whether hormones play important roles in here but since it's fading away, so i'm going to share few things).

1st and very important thing is to avoid touching your skin! no not at all!
if u feel extremely itchy and unavoidable, use the back of your hand to rub it away, not the palm side as it has more bacteria than the back ones.

2nd thing is cleanser, i've tried many over-the-counter products, u name it, i've had them all on my face, none of them were working. One day my friend recommended Clinique. So i gave it a try, only the acne facial bar, just that, i've noticed a drastic improvement of my skin. What i could conclude here is, the soap has no fragrance and colour, hence this kind of cleanser is good. Now i'm using Simple products as the replacement for Clinique. 10x cheaper and works the same. Good huh?

3rdly, pillowcase, change it more often, like twice a week, it helps alot! i mean it!

4th, sleep! get enough sleep! i've been observing this matter the most, if i had enough sleep, there will be no pimple coming out, during stress time, which i had insufficient sleep, they will come out, but not as bad as before, just mild ones.

Conclusions

1.DO NOT TOUCH YOUR SKIN!

2.GENTLE CLEANSER(COLORLESS,NO FRAGRANCE,LESS SOAP)

3.REGULARLY CHANGE PILLOWCASE.

4.GET SUFFICIENT SLEEP.

Good luck! gambateh!
