hi jin yee,

hi! i have acne prone skin but it is getting better n better now, but it still cant clear up and there is some small small pimples on my cheeks and forehead. Im so sad. and recently, my back is fulled of pimples, dont know why it is getting worse. I'm using Johnson shower foam now and following my fren's suggestion to use the 'hhard sponge' to rub my back, but the condition remains the same.
Could you pls advise me?? Thank you so much!

Hye Jin Yee,

I found this topic 2 months back and my wife followed your regimen. At first she was following as you said, but after few days i confused a little bit about the steps sweat.gif . Then she followed the same products which you recommended with ACNE.ORG site's STEP's (Spread Treatment on your face). The step which they recommended created more pimples all over face due to (Spread Treatment on your face). cry.gif

After 1 month only we realise there was something wrong on the acne.org steps and then we return to your steps back. Just within few days there was alot of changes. drool.gif

Before i found this topic my wife was going to treatment at NEW YORK SOLUTIONS at Plaza Pelangi JB. I paid RM 15000 for all the f**** mad.gif sessions. Only little bit difference can be seen after 7 months. rclxub.gif After that she used Natashya Gold Night Cream. That makes the skin more worst. rclxub.gif

I think all 3 products which you said is below RM100 and it takes just few weeks to see the improvement. I will give you a treat when i come to KL ( You are from KL rite ?)
Thanks alot and your regimen makes my wife happier

Do you have any regimen for reduce the blackmarks on the skin ?

I attached her Photo in this post. Check out her Difference

Kindly,
Franky

Hi, Jinyee, I really need a few cents from you. cry.gif

This few recent months I've been having quite severe acnes due to sleepless nights, organizing events and having endless meetings in my campus life. I ignore it, because I thought that it'll heal naturally like usual. Then, after my finals my acnes worsens.

I use to have fair acne-less skin. Now, It's all ruined with acnes. bye.gif Therefore, I thought that I should look for a remedy b4 things get worse.

My relatives and mom has been using Melilea range products. My mom and those aunties have really seriously 'glowing' good skin. On the other hand, My friends recommended me to use the Vichy 'Normaderm' range. Those with the anti-imperfection, tri-activ series. I've no idea which to follow. Mind to provide me with some advice? icon_question.gif

*I'm male, and no I've not been using facial products b4, because I use to believe in the natural way. doh.gif

I hope these links may help.
http://www.melilea.com/malaysia/index.php?...id=45&Itemid=74
http://www.vichyusa.com/_us/_en/face-care/.../normaderm.aspx

I hope you could help. Thanks, in advance. laugh.gif

last few days, i tried oxy10 at my new acne on my right cheek. left it overnite. later, it gets really irritating. the next morning, that spot on my cheek looks like 'burned'. now it left a black spot that i'm not sure whether it will dissapear or not cry.gif

any suggestion for my problem? people already start asking bout the mark and its frustating since i wasnt really have acne problem before. if only i could turn back the time, i would never ever buy oxy10.

Oxy 10 is a strong concentration of Benzoyl Peroxide. They kill P.acnes bacteria that causes inflammation on your face. They're different concentration of BP. 2.5, 5, and 10. If it's your 1st time using BP, you should start with 2.5 instead, 10 is would be too much for your skin. Perhaps PanOxyl 2.5 recommended by JinYee would be a better choice. As for the 'burned' spot, have no worries. It'll heal gradually. It only takes time. Cheers~ laugh.gif

For proper facial care, you'll need a cleanser, toner and moisturiser. You are only using facial cleanser, which is not good enough.
This regime has already recommended Cetaphil cleanser, you can stop using your Clean and Clear and use Cetaphil.

If there has been no change in your diet/environment, your acne could be most likely due to hormones.
Acne due to hormones usually can't be cured overnight and most commercialize products won't work as well.

Try finding out what type of skin you have first, oily skin or dry skin. Most of us think that acne prone skin is definitely oily skin. But if our skin is too dry, it'll produce more oil. So if we don't keep our skin moisturised, it'll produce acnes as well.

Men can use this regimen right? I'm searching information about acne and finally found this topic.

Anyway, is it necessary to use Neutrogena oil-free moisture for SPF15 - NMSPF during daytime and Neutrogena oil-free moisture for combination skin - NMCS during night? Can't we just use either 1 moisturizer?

Sorry for asking stupid question as I'm not familiar with these type of skin care products.

Of course men can use this regime. Anyone can. smile.gif

It is RECOMMENDED to use that particular moisturiser but if you prefer to use other moisturiser then go ahead. There are many type of moisturiser for many types of skin. Some are very oily while some are water based. Just go to any Guardian/Watsons and you'll see the many different varieties.

Most of us have to try many brands to find one that is suitable for our skin. This brand may work for your friend, but that doesn't mean it will surely work for you. Everyone reaction to certain products are different. Ingredients in these products are different as well.
