hi jinyee
using your regime for a month now
thanx a lot for your info and all
the regime work very well wit me
the redness, blotches, bump, pimples, acne (u name it sad.gif ) fade away after two weeks & so
i still keep using panoxyl to keep all the acne/pimples from return

i used to have an oily, acne-prone skin
it started getting worse wen i was studying in university
& then working
and the worst after i change to this expensive brand
the brand using a lot of alcohol

i was so depressed at the moment
having a job that require u to always look neat & smart
and speaking confidently but looking at ur own face
and feel bad first thing in the morning becoz of it cry.gif

anyway a million thanx to u jinyee
i'm going to stick to this regime forever
it's simple, effective & affordable 4 all too

thanx jinyee
and yes i know u r not taking any profit from cetaphil & panoxyl biggrin.gif
but i do hope they give u some credit for this rclxms.gif

Hello there, I'm new here, and actually i registered only because I want to post my question here smile.gif

I'm polish, totally white girl, and I live in Vietnam now (students exchange).
Recently I was taking hormones (the contraceptive pills) but i stoped it in Vietnam.. I've never had much problems with my skin, few pimples before the period and that all.. But righ now I have a battle field on my forehead. I don't know if it's either the climate or the cause of stopping the hormones.. I went to the pharmacy and they sold me the T3 Mycin Clindamycin Gel 1%.. I read here that you don't recommend it, may i know why? Cuz all i got here is written in Vietnamese (which i'm not fluent with yet) smile.gif
What else do you recommend what is not so expensive but good? wink.gif

Hi Jinyee,

I have started ur regimen for more than a month and i am no longer having acne problem now. What i'm doing is simple, wash my face twice (morning & night) with Cetaphil and apply Panoxyl 2.5% on acne area (alternate days) To my surprise, within a week, my big acne started to shrink and didn't get any new acne (normally, will get 1 or 2 new acne in 4-5 days <big or small acne> My face is clear from acne starting from 2 weeks plus from the regimen. Of coz there is still acne scar/spot but i can tell, it's healing~

I used to have lots of pimples/ big bump on my face. I have tried many solution out there, expensive cleanser, toner, mosturizing, topical and even oral medications. Only oral antibiotics helped to control and cleared my face. However there was one big problem, my acne bacteria seems to be immuned over the time and fight back with even worse outbreak! I took antibiotics since 10 years ago, it reduced and cleared my face within a month. Took the antibiotics for a year and stopped, problem back after 7-8 months and i have to repeat the medication. This was what i do for the past few years, been upgrade/change the antibiotics, tetracycline>minocycline>doxycyline. All these oral capsules was prescribed by dermatologist/skin specialist.

Finally, i have reached the immuned stage for doxycycline too, and the doctor gave me stronger pills, accutane. Even though, the doc said the only side effect from taking it is that ur lip will be dry and chapped. But damn, before i start taking the pills,i found tons of side effects from the net and one of them which i afraid the most that it will thin or bald ur hair! I lose confidence and decided not to follow the doc advise or medication anymore cause the end of the days, i may cleared my acne, but taking another medication for my losing hair from the side effect. This is the situation they're facing from some of the people out there.

Luckily, i found this forum while i was searching for the accutane side effect. After reading through all the pages (100+ pages, don't ask me how i can do that XP) I decided to give it a tried and IT WORKS!! Now, without any oral antibiotics, with just practicing a simple step of the regimen, my face is getting better and free from acne.

For you guys whom suffering the skin problem, i think it's no harms for giving it a shot~ At least be patience with the regimen for the 1st two months.

Lastly, I hope this review helps and again, thank you so much, Jinyee!!!

I am currently using Proactive (3 steps) Cleanser, Toner & Repairing Treatment Cream... after I finished the 1st & 2nd pack (1 pack can use for 60days) (twice a day)... yup my acne gone, but to really completely but not big one just small like oil seed.

I ordered the 3rd pack for me and use as normal... one day accidently I left the pack in my car in hot weather.... so I think it okay, so I apply as usual... day by day my face start new breakout... huge one. I FB msg proactiv malaysia and they say the oxygen in the products are gone due to heat... so they suggest to put the product in the freezer for 1 day to bring back the oxygen...

but I dont dare to take a risk to apply the same set... so I ordered the new one....

Please remember do not put your facial product expose to any heat...

To combat acne skin you must exfloliate(AHA/BHA), treat (benzol peroxide), heal (antioxidant) n protect (sunblock)

Use it. I had bad acne problems back in secondary school too,so bad my dad resorted to giving me antibiotics(my dad's a pharmacist). I have oily face too,so mosturizing never crossed my mind. Then i started realizing after many ppl tell me my face is dehydrated. I don't get it at first, then i realized:

Our face produce sebum to compensate for lack of hydration. Mosturizer reduces the oil on my face and eventually less acne coz less oily! I also changed my cleanser to normal+combination skin type instead of oily face type as i found d one for oily face dries out my skin and eventually producing more face oil! More oil, more acne prone. I think that was also one of the reason my face has acne problem last time.

I started toning and mosturizing my face about a year back, when i just started my pre-u and i can see how well it controls my acne and oily face problem. I still have acnes, but only a few occasionally but much better now.
