I did encounter a few Koreans who pushed other people at crowded areas, but it wasn't as bad as it was in China so all's good. Wouldn't say they are rude though.

I feel there's so many cafes that I haven't been to either! Would definitely want to go back again. Purposely went to a korean restaurant for dinner to eat kimchi and bulgogi last night  biggrin.gif
Stay! Seoul is a great city!
You can take the KTX. 3 hours from Seoul to Busan, very convenient.

btw, perhaps you didn't know, it's common that they pushed other people at crowded area or inside subway whistling.gif and they also won't easily apologize for small matter smile.gif

they don't favor China chinese and thought if you are chinese is definitely from China already haha.. but they love to earn their $$ cause they can spent a lot. that's why China people have benefits in certain shopping complexes such as lotte, shinsegae, etc. my friends encountered that the ahjumma in the restaurant serve them badly cause she thought they are from China tongue.gif

Wow I didn't know that! Perhaps I'd been comparing Korea to Japan a lot, didn't experience this in Japan. Thanks for the information! smile.gif

yeah. so some people might get offended. my friend got offended as when they walk pass her very fast and accidentally knock or bump into her, they just walk away like nothing happen. so my friend even piss off tongue.gif that why so she dislike Korea

you can't compare Japan to Korea cause different culture. Japanese are more polite despite their ancestors are bad hahaha. i personally feel that Korean certain behavior quite similar as China people in terms of communication (tends to speak louder or shout), spit on the floor, appetite bigger (portion is quite big), etc

The first thing I thought when I was in Korea is "Wow this place looks like Japan!" and hence I tend to compare the country to Japan. Yeah I realized they do talk loudly and even the skinny girls have appetite bigger than my already huge appetite!

You don't need to go for a ski tour.  Just go straight to the ski jump, rent the equipment and ski.  Ski rentals is about KRW25,000-30,000 per person depending on which resort.  If you stay at the resort, you can get 40-50% discount on rentals.

If you want lessons, you can also pay for lessons. They have individual and group packages.
Which resort are you going to?

Thank you for the information! I Googled about it after saw your reply. I'm thinking of going to Jisan since many people recommended it. Do you have any recommendation?

due to our exchange rate.. estimate around RM170+-
what do you mean day trip?? return Seoul-Busan?? not worth. cause you waste your time traveling on KTX

the fastest journey also 2 hrs 17mins non stop. also it depends on timing and train no. some although it mention direct but all trains still will have stop at certain destination. depends on whether less or more stops only

Korean don't practice sharing food. they will dislike just like when you are in HK. they will think that you wasted their space but didn't order.. so you will notice that Koreans ordered according to number of pax. they will left over the food if can't finish.. doh.gif unless you know to speak in Korean language explaining that you guys are small eater and you can't finish up so big portion

I experienced the same as well. Went to Gwangjang Market's mandu stall to order a bowl of mandu for 4 (as we had already eaten a lot at other stalls there). The lady at the stall contemplated whether to attend to our order but we tried to explain that we were full and just wanted to try the mandu there. She eventually agreed and we later on ordered another bowl out of courtesy.

can if your tax refund available at gimhae airport. if i'm not mistaken, gimahe airport only have 2 types of tax refund. incheon airport got 3 types but another one is less common.
credit card no matter visa or master is accepted in almost everywhere in korea.. unless those market area
at gwangjang market can order variety of food from different stalls but you need to know to converse in korean as mostly is ahjumma.. it's not like a food court and mostly packed with alot of people. better to sit at the stall that you prefer to have meal on as some of the stalls sell almost the same foods. if you wanna try others, just take away lor

ahhh.. icic.. how many person traveling? if you ask me, i will prefer pocket wifi cause i will use more data compare to calls or sms tongue.gif plus i don't like changing my sim card in case there is emergency, people can't get to contact me.

pocket wifi can have simultaneous devices and it's cheaper with unlimited data, while sim card only for 1 device and for voice n sms only. if you need data, you need to top up data. unless you opt for data prepaid. but sim card data not cheap..

in the end also is up to personal preferences smile.gif
