Just for sharing...if you want book ktx from seoul to busan, book 1 month ahead and look for train 353 @ 10:20, price is krw43k+. I not sure which other timings have the same price but I chk on most of the other timing, price is krw50k+.

Same goes to nanta show, book ahead and you get 40% discount if the timetable suits you. I book mine on a saturday morning show at krw24k. 2nd floor seat but I read reviews the theather is not very big and any seating doesn't matter. Anyway, just want check it out for first time with that great discounts

Both also allow cancellation few days before actual date

Saw Nanta show last Dec. Very interesting for I hv not seen such show. Cant remember the title. Just a warning...the props are real. Like what I saw was some cooking in the kitchen...therefore those of you who are seated downstair near d stage may get bits n pieces from what is going on live on stage and sometimes even water too.. May be u wanna sit far away or upstairs. Had a great view too from upstairs

Its been super windy these past two days in Seoul and Sokcho. Not sure about Busan. What I'm wearing(top) Heattech inner short sleeve + casual long or short tee + fleece shirt + down Uniqlo vest. Another hoodie as backup, especially mornings and late nights. Beanie's is a must for me cause my ears always freezes when the wind blows o.o

Some locals are already using their winter gear. Thick and big jackets.

I am in dilemma whether to go Nagoya or Busan. I know in Nagoya there is a place (korankei) that is very beautiful with all the autumn leaf and I guess that alone is worth the trip. While Busan has all the many beautiful beaches and sea which i like, but I want to see autumn leaf as I never see it before.

Is there any place to see autumn leaf in Busan area in late November this year?
And is late November a good time to go to beach?

yes. for real it's very cold especially if raining than temperature can go lower. my friend still in Korea (but in Busan) and haven't back yet. she told me her lips and skin crack. i have told her earlier to do preparation but she ignore me saying that Busan is further down so won't be that cold sweat.gif main concern is the wind that blow towards you. sometimes it's 15 degree but very windy, you will feel like 5-6 degree. so you imagine if raining or cloudy without sunshine. if you are those afraid of cold, can bring more clothes but i suggest you buy over there la.. so many choices and got sales now.. more choices and style is nicer tongue.gif

Our skin are used to humid conditions.
So when visiting cold countries like Japan & Korea, must apply moisturiser to the face everyday. Lip gloss too.

due to cold weather plus wind blow is dry. than shower hot water somemore.. skin sure loss moisture and tends to dry.

apply adequately and not too much. if not when you back to Msia, you will have outbreak tongue.gif cz over moisture. some encounter this issue..

Just got back from my trip last night. My detailed itinerary is in Excel actually, but for simplicity here you go:

Flight to Jeju via Jeju Air, arrival 6.00 pm

26th Oct 2014 (Day 4)
Mount Halla (ascending via Seongpanak, descending via Gwaneumsa)

27th Oct 2014 (Day 5)
Flight to Seoul, arrival 1.25 pm

Gwangjang Market

29th Oct 2014 (Day 7)
Gyeongbokgung Palace
Ginseng chicken soup at Tosokchon
Bukchon Hanok Village
Myeongdong

30th Oct 2014 (Day 8)
KTX back to Busan
Flight back to KL, arrival 10.25 pm

Feel free to PM if you need any details on my itinerary. As I tried to cover as much as possible in one trip (Busan, Jeju Island and Seoul), I feel that there are still so many places that I have yet to cover so the next time I go I'll make it a point to allocate one whole week for Seoul!
The leaves have turned yellow and red at this point. Beautiful colours spotted in Nami Island.
Yup, loved it very much!  smile.gif

Good choice! smile.gif I don't remember seeing any parking spaces right outside of the guesthouse though. Perhaps you'd have to park further and walk.

Just came back from Korea last night, the weather there was good. Slightly windy and very cold during night. Celsius around 6-18.

Some places around Seoul the leaves still yellow colored but you can see red one in Nami Island. If you are are going to Nami Island by subway, once you arrive Gapyeong Stn. I prefer you take taxi than bus because taxi rate start from 3,000won.
I think I took the wrong bus which cost me 5,000won per person and only 5mins from Stn to the Whaft. Grrr. Mental breakdown. Or you can even walk.

If you guys are going Seoul, it's alright not to know or know lil Korea language because now they speak lil English and mandarin. I spoke in korean but then they straight away reply in Mandarin ==

For people who want to rent pocket wifi, I recommend you Wifi-Korea http://www.wifi-korea.com.
They have 2 type of pocket wifi. I rented the cheaper one which is UDP. The coverage is so so. It better to rent ESP. Their office just right in front Insadong Main Street. For more info do visit their website.

Hmmm. One more thing. I stayed at 24!guesthouse Cheongyestream branch. The location is good. 5mins walk from Stn to guesthouse and there's 2 line which is line 2&3. From guesthouse can walk to myeondong,Cheongyestream, city hall, gwangwamun plaza and dongdaemun. The Stn,exit 1, theres a restaurant it 국수하고 만두가 맛있어요! Cheap and delicious.

Alright that's all. Almost wrote an essay. ㅋㅋ

The bus one is a daily pass. You can it unlimited for the today. It is also benefitial if you also go to Petite France and Garden of Morning Calm.
