I bought my tickets for Busan-Jeju and Jeju-Seoul for RM260 from JejuAir for October 2014. Found out that Air Busan is offering a lower price for the routes above on the promotion that starts today (but a bit late in my case as I wanted to book accommodation and plan my itinerary earlier).

early OCT 2014.    will be too late for promo?
i see Air Busan have promo but my colleague said there's really cheap tickets round RM100-200++ to and fro icheon / jeju.

when did you book? now is around RM400-550.....

Feel free to PM if you need any details on my itinerary. As I tried to cover as much as possible in one trip (Busan, Jeju Island and Seoul), I feel that there are still so many places that I have yet to cover so the next time I go I'll make it a point to allocate one whole week for Seoul!

Good choice!   I don't remember seeing any parking spaces right outside of the guesthouse though. Perhaps you'd have to park further and walk.

Just came back from Korea last night, the weather there was good. Slightly windy and very cold during night. Celsius around 6-18.

Some places around Seoul the leaves still yellow colored but you can see red one in Nami Island. If you are are going to Nami Island by subway, once you arrive Gapyeong Stn. I prefer you take taxi than bus because taxi rate start from 3,000won. 
I think I took the wrong bus which cost me 5,000won per person and only 5mins from Stn to the Whaft. Grrr. Mental breakdown. Or you can even walk.

If you guys are going Seoul, it's alright not to know or know lil Korea language because now they speak lil English and mandarin. I spoke in korean but then they straight away reply in Mandarin == and there's a lot of China people. If you don't want them to think u are China ppl just buy a Msia flag badge and pin on ur clothes or bag.haha.

For people who want to rent pocket wifi, I recommend you Wifi-Korea http://www.wifi-korea.com. 
They have 2 type of pocket wifi. I rented the cheaper one which is  UDP. The coverage is so so. It better to rent ESP. Their office just right in front Insadong Main Street. For more info do visit their website.

Hmmm. One more thing. I stayed at 24!guesthouse Cheongyestream branch. The location is good. 5mins walk from Stn to guesthouse and there's 2 line which is line 2&3. From guesthouse can walk to myeondong,Cheongyestream,city hall,gwangwamun plaza and dongdaemun. The Stn,exit 1, theres a restaurant it 국수하고 만두가 맛있어요! Cheap and delicious.

Am I too ambitious if i plan to go to Mount Sorak in one day? Just a daytrip instead of overnight there. 

What time did you arrive Sorak then? and what time did you arrive Seoul? 

a taxi driver quote me 150k for 9hrs per day..while rent a small car will cost abt 100k.. i'm still in dilemma should i juz go for car rental or hire a taxi driver. will I be able to cover more places if drive myself compare to hire taxi? We cant really speed while driving in Jeju rite as lot of bloggers mention got many speedtrap.

what concerns me is during parking and driving on the road. Or actually there is nth to worry abt? will get used to it very soon?

FYI, KT KUMHO car rental has been bought by Lotte Corporation => Lotte Car Rental, but the office remain as the same building. 

bcos i saw some ppl will go jeju right after they land in seoul. I just find it too tiring after a midnight flight and continue to fly again with big luggage.

btw, is it worth visit to Seoraksan Mountain in end March?

Any one face any problem with car rental at jeju  with malaysian driving license (I have international driving permit). Read from other forum and learn that they dont accept international driving permit issued by some country. Not sure about malaysian.

Sorry I do not have much time to search more info, as I am going day after tomorrow... sweating when i read that.

Am I to understand that eastarjet and jejuair allow free checked baggage?
