Mollai, so far it's been a bitter winter with afternoons at -2 degrees and nites at -9 degrees. It's oh so cold and dry. But I've noted that if you have a good winter (bulky) jacket, nothing much gets thru. Still stay warm. But if you wanna be cool like koreans with fashion...then probably suffer a bit  wink.gif  wink.gif

awww.. My korean friend told me that this year winter is pretty cold too.

Anyone used heat patches before? any idea where can I buy in M'sia

I'm going to Korea for 13 days. Is Olleh's KT Wi-Fi egg or SK Telecom's T-mifi egg better? in terms of coverage (in Seoul) and price (with discount). I found vouchers at konest..

- 5,000won/day for Olleh but it is only valid until 31st Dec 2014 and I'm going back Malaysia only 4th Jan 2015
- 6,500won/day for SK Telecom

Is there any other voucher and promotion?

Thank you.

doh.gif if you come from gimpo than you just take back the same route to incheon only as it's the last stop for airport line. refer to the subway map for clearer picture

Hi need help / recommendation here on my jeju trip,

5 pax, 1st April to 5 April, 1st april will reach jeju around 6pm+ , 5th april taking flight ard 830am, so total of 3 full days plus 2 days to/frm airport.

Basically, my first thought is to self driving, but after adding all expenses, car rental 800+ , petrol, car insurance ? , international license 150, somemore the places are quite isolated ? Feel like gone get lost at jeju.....

So my 2nd thought is to engage a private driver ... Is that do able to engage a private driver for this 3 full days and airport transfer ? For budget around 1k ?

Anyone tried before, appreicate if someone can feedback or got any contact can share with me ? Welcome any advice, cheers.

if you have 5 pax it's advisable to rent a car. it's cheaper than you hired a private taxi. the car itself got built in GPS where you use to search the route you are going. it's very convenient lah

for private taxi, 5 pax very hard to find. usually it's for 4 pax. unless you get a mpv car else you need 2 cars.

private taxi cost around 130,000-150,000 won for 8 hours per day. some you driver you need to include meals for him and additional time will have extra charge. it depends on some driver oso. some wont calculative and good.

while rented car cost lesser and 1 tank diesel can last for 2-3 days depends where you go.

most of the cars in Korea have GPS. from normal car to taxi, etc..

entrance to attractions is not inclusive doh.gif they are not tour agent leh. some private taxi you need to provide them meals.

yes we drive in Jeju. rented Kia Sorento (7 seaters) 3 days from KT Kumho around 200k++ won inclusive of insurance but not inclusive of diesel. the price is year 2013 la.. price might increase or they don't rent out such car anymore. so it's better that you check it online at their website.

only pump once when we wanna return the car back to the company. you need to register as a member so that you can get a better deals as they will provide members promo price.
