Hi TS, could you advise a cooking hood and induction hob for rental home ? I plan to rent out my new property. Budget below 2.5k.

What do you guys think about DE&E HA939 Kitchen Cooker Hood

I like that it have Intel RF connection, that can connect it to the hob and enjoy the convenience of automatic hood activation when turning on the hob.

Seems all the specs are good, should I be worried about anything, my budget is around 3K thus I can purchase this cooker hood , planning to purchase the cooker hob later after have more budget, currently I use stainless steel cooker hob

Update : I check Haier Chimney Ventilations Hood HH-T900GC together with Cooktop model HC-QM72DB1 also have the function to automatically turn on the hod when turning on the hob, cheaper also by around RM700

Will post this here as this seems to be the only active thread re hood & hobs but if admin/mod thinks otherwise, I'll re-post to a new thread (with an apology).

My built-in FAGOR radiant hob has been giving me some issues. It does switch on.. but will auto-switch off (overheating?) and after one minute, it'll reset itself back on.

15 sec - auto switch off
1:09 min - auto reset and switches back on. That's almost a min after it auto-switched off
1:40 min - the 2nd test (on a different zone) seemed to last longer but again, auto-switched-off
2:40 min - auto reset again after 1 min

There's a pattern here. My questions to all the pros/experts here

1) Is this end of life situation for this hob? Or a failure point that can be fixed (assuming I can find ppl who know how to service a Fagor hob)

2) The pattern seems to indicate some overheating safety switching off the hob, and auto switch it back on once it has cool down. Or am I overthinking this? LOL

3) Any other thoughts?

Worst case would be to replace this with a new hob. But if this is servicable, that would be my preferred approach.

you nd to check their hob can fit our existing hole size or not, most likely cant. I m selling it too, can easily remove glass n clean inside, spec good too

if google cant find fagor service center try google Brandt, c they can repair or not.

Undecided to get which FOTILE Combi Oven? There two models HYZK26-E1 aka One oven and HYZK32-E3 aka One Oven Plus (latest model), price difference between both around RM 600 - 700, so is it worth buying new model? Here is a brief comparison between these two models.

if given a choice i would go for induction bcoz heat up much faster, if u dont cook much and jus simple meals then speed not issue

Hi, I am eyeing Fotile for cooker hood but so many series, prefer hood with the good suction, wider chamber entrance, high air flow, budget below 3k..
Any suggestion? different brand also can.
