1. CHeap confirm earlier u buy the cheaper
2. Start paying monthly instalment? if u buy next year dont even nd to pay now better than instalment bcoz u most likely need the stuff in 1 to 2 years sometimes VP delay
3. Honestly haven VP too early to give dimensions to ID because they nd to go ur unit for site visit first.

I think too early to purchase now, since u already locked the items u wan, i think purchase after VP safer and u dont need to start paying now. if VP delay, 2 years ++ new model come out d

Also take note, many customers asked FREE 0% instalment payment, actually there is no such thing as 0% as seller will  factor it into selling price. The best way to buy lowest price product is always CASH (no bank charges). However big companies such as Harvey (managed by staff, cannot negotiate) they wont give discount even u pay them cash so might as well get their instalment. Biz like mine, manage by own family, if u tell me i wan buy now and cash confirm i will give good price.

However, if customers really need instalment plans, call ur card center or check online, diff bank got diff rate and usually is cheaper than merchant.

Harvey Norman you can negotiate with pricing from other stores and they will match the price, subject to the store manager approval. I'm not sure if this is same for other big stores like Senheng or TBM but confirm work for HM

That's how I negotiated for my Fotile hob and oven (1k for GHG73201 and 3.6k for KSG7003AT). Granted it might not be as cheap as cash buy from smaller family owned business, but if you want to pay by card installment this is something to take note

actually can also swipe card to buy from shop and then call bank convert to instalment plan, still can get slightly lower price bcoz bank charge customer lower than charging merchant. Harvey diff case, huge transaction amount so bank will give them special rates too.

but u can try to compare if u manually do the instalment how much u can save compare to harvey price

got it on 19th March

i got the price from TBM at first, salesperson claim is almost direct supplier price

after that I went to HM, their listed price is 4k+. Negotiated with the salesman using the TBM price, and he agreed to match the price

Can make a video on how to dismantle the hood motor for Fotile JQG9009T for cleaning ? Your earlier videos is just the surface cleaning on the outside / grill. Bought from your ex-Kepong Baru shop around 2+ years ago. Thanks
*
cant do a video on how to clean bcoz no existing hood but done a video how to dismantle for u, recommended to get someone to assist you and also cover your hob or even better remove gas hob first before cleaning.

is it true that electric hob generally doesn't last long? most of the manufacturer only give 1 year warranty. usually after that its beyond economical repair...
does the brand play a role here?

depend on brand too, Fotile during homedec will give 2 years warranty

or their next sale usually festive season such as merdeka or deepavali will also have 2 years, normally 1 year

there are many brands in the market with 5kW to 6kW, high kW does not always equal to better performance. You will need to look at efficiency and burning technology as well. Here is a comparison of two brands that i have in shop, one is Brand X with the higher kW that i have in store vs Fotille 4.85kW, surprisingly, fotile flame is stronger

majority brands nowadays are more than 300mm, if u have done 300mm already then ur only choice is jqq9031 as u dont need to install the top stainless steel cover but also depending what height u have done ur cabinet, if ur ID makde it 600 - 700mm then GG already. optimum cabinet height 830mm

It seems that the standard cabinet depth is 300mm.

I have already bought the 9007 hood. Can you provide the optimum cabinet size in terms of height and depth needed to conceal it? You also mentioned the second top stainless steel cover is not necessary to install.

From the installation diagram, it looks like 750mm from counter top is good enough, is that correct?

Thanks! Is there any reason why the distance from hob to hood is 370mm when the installation diagram stated it can be 285-325mm?

Since I’m using and induction hob, does that mean 300mm is fine?
