QUOTE(angmodan @ Nov 20 2020, 02:15 PM) i like fotile jgp9009t but thats at least 3k without the gas hob. im trying to go for hood and hob about 3k.from previous post, zheilwane question about robam tornado suction might cause oil to spread disperse larger area make me worry about oily surroundings. if theres anyone who using robam , can share their experience will be helpful and if robam after sales service/spare parts experience as well. |

ok to explain about how sales work. if a product is controlled or sold by one seller only, then normally retail price is fixed and festive season got sale but if a product is sold widely, many dealers, then there will b price wars between sellers, there for there wont be additional huge discounts during any SALE at all. There is only discount when the price is MARKED up. Eg dyson selling for 1.8k sale period 1.5k why cant they sell 1.5k all the time? if they did sell rm 1.5k all the time then there wont b a SALE discount. So, if u survey a product from seller a - z and the price is about there, u can tell it is price controlled. but if u c a product, seller A is rm 3000, seller B is rm 2500, huge price gap, u know it is price war already. Impossible sale u can get rm 2k, not that high profit margin wo example, i bought ecovacs from lazada as cant find any other seller with that model, so normal price is rm 2599 during 11.11 was rm 2,299. so yes that is a valid sale, no competition, no price war ma. But kitchen appliances r not the same, many sellers, many on going price wars, so how to get even cheaper during 11.11 or 12.12? already at minimal margin already. Price never goes down except for fast moving items like TV and HP where new models come in and old model will be sold at a discount, from my experience in my business, prices never go down, only up. Unless they bring in new product with lower quality, then price will b lower if u book earlier from a shop and later found out got better deal at the same shop, ask them renew the invoice only, u cant renew i cancel order and buy again only, why cant? but if u buy later price increase d, u wan to ask them for old price, confirm cant get wHY DEC PRICE increase? shipment fee increased over 150%, insufficient cargo, shipper all naik harga like durian. So some supplier increase price (reflected in catalog) some supplier already printed a bunch of catalogs so instead of increasing price, reduce in dealers discount rate = price increase also. Hi all,
I've just moved into a rented condo. I called for a technician to service the gas hob and cooker hood but he said there are no replacement parts for this model. The Elba model is more than 20 years old. I've attached pics as the dimensions are small and the kitchen cabinet is built-in. I'm looking for a 2 or 3 burner gas hob and cooker hood. Since this is a rented unit, my budget is limited. Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated. Thank you. Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(sathisk @ Nov 26 2020, 07:04 PM) Hi all, If you check ELBA website, you can see they have the exact replacement model as the one installed in your kitchen. I think since it is the same brand, the manufacturer would retain the same dimension so that their previous buyer can easily find replacement to fill into the existing slot on the countertop.I've just moved into a rented condo. Maybe i rephrase my question, can i replace my 90mm pull out hood, with non-pull out Fotile ems9021r? Does it usually fit/standard size?

Thank you for your reply. Yes I found an exact replacement model from Elba. EBH-6630. TBM is selling at RM1100 without installation. |

Used fujioh before and satisfied. Heavy cooking - malay style. The sucked air will first hit the panel where it'll be directed to the central section. The filter is mesh.. and the oil will be trapped in the panel and collection cup. Some will hit the mesh. I clean it once about 2-3 months .. The filter seems to work very well as there are no residue in the main motor area at all. I think for asian cooking best to use ventilation type.. Recycle ones I think will not last long. This fujioh design very simple however lasted me 12 years and still going strong. Moving to new home and I've bought another fujioh too.
