Hey guys, anyone have any experience with Fujioh slim hood FR-ms1990 v/r?

Been offered a good deal on it along with fujioh fh-gs6020 as a package deal.

So was wondering whether it will be worthwhile to pick it up.

Current kitchen has an old ventilator/ circulator which I plan to remove or replace. (house just recently bought, hence circulator was inhereted)

That depends on your priorities.

No reason to have a slim hood if it would not be suitable for your needs.

They are good hoods though quite noisy.

Depends on your budget and what you prioritise in a hood.

best way to do shopping nowadays during covid and cmco, i dont think there will be any homefair this year, so best way is to research online

1) survey online and shortlist which brand & model u interested with

2) check pricing for budgeting in lazada or shopee, u dont wanna do tonne of research shortlisted something but jus notice it is far above budget, so time and effort wasted on researching.

3) once u finalize what u wan, hunt for pricing by giving the exact model number u wanna purchase and if u need more info u can get from seller since u already have the model number

There are so many brands in the market, how to choose? first decide on the budget, example rm 2k search in lazada with filter price 2.5k (mana tau u willing to up budget a bit), c what brand fits under the price range, then from there c online review and research

Hi!!!

Looking for some advice. Will be moving into new place condo & currently still browsing on which hood to buy. Kitchen is relatively small about 8ft * 3ft-ish. Any good hood to suggest which can minimize grease and easy to maintain? Smell and noise will be secondary factors. The hood will be paired with gas stove kind of hob since mother prefers so. I'm guessing we will most likely go for rinnai for the hob but quite clueless about hoods. Fuijoh seems quite impressive but pricey. Saw a slightly cheaper model FR FS1890. Any feedback on this?? Open to any recommendations. Budget for hood below 4k. Btw don't have to be the recycle/recirculate kind.

Thanks!

hi zheilwane!

How is Robam brand? I've never heard of it before, but it's seems to be recommended by a few sales people.

I heard that it's a China brand and has great suction power.

It's even cheaper than those European brands.
*
1 thing is for sure, their catalog suction power is not accurate as explained before here, double check their same or similar model with china model, malaysia claim suction power 1800 - 2000 but in china only 1200. something fishy

Buy the best ones you can afford.

You will get what you paid for but in no way shape and form does a less expensive appliance mean they are more dangerous.

EMS9016 noise level is lower

In terms of performance jqg9009t is better, with world first dc motor and higher suction power
