Hi, I've spoken to the fotile sales person and they mentioned warranty will void if install on the 6 inch as the minimum requirements is 7 inch ? Is this true?

is OEM brand, not related to japan, they they brand it like japanese brand. u may google find some info, not much info on this brand.

suction power high? too good to be true, if big brands cant do 2000m3/h how can OEM brand do it. I can only say different suction power measuring used or marketing gimmick

@zheilwane can you pm me for FOTILE JQG9009T Chimney Hood 1850m3/h Unrestrained airflow. Do I need this high power suction if hob is induction but not flame.

Interested in having a slanted hood. Was eyeing on Fotile but apparently might not be suitable as only extraction type and not recirculation. Is there any other brand that have a slanted recirculated hood? I saw some from Rubine, any reviews?

Curious to know too. The salesperson did warned that using 6” duct instead of the recommended 7” can get your warranty voided. But i still bought the JGQ9009t + GAG 76202 combination. Went around to ask and most would recommend fotile over other brand if budget permit.

I see the sales person also warned us that the motor will spoilt easier and noisier if did not use the 7"" so I gave up on it after listening their honest feedback. Now considering rinnai brand not sure if is good or not

What would you recommend for ducted hood though?

I want to get the ducted one but need to wait if management allows hacking to be done.

our contractor punch 6 inch hole for us, although we ask him to punch 7 inch. We recently purchase Livinox Hood with 7 inch duct. I also scare the warranty will be voided..and also the performance issue... but the contractor say will use 7 inch to 6 inch converter at wall..

Can anyone share your experience too?

Going to be building my condo soon. I'll be in the market for a hood so would like to ask the sifus here, what's the best/recommended recirculating hood in the Malaysian market?

My family doesn't cook that much so don't want to deal with the complication of a ducted set-up.

Went to midvalley. Got a sincero induction cooker + ceramic one. RM2700 + 2 free gift set. They say I'm given free upgrade in case future got better models.

Is it worth it? I'm allowed to lock in 3 years for delivery, which is just nice before I masuk rumah. Please advice if it's worth my money. Again, like last time, they say no need hood.

if u seldom cook and jus like slanted design, ok can just hunt for any slanted hood with recycle. if u wan performance also, i suggest u ask seller to show u how to install the charcoal filter and also maintenance cost.

induction cook fast, anything that is fast will have more smoke, wan less smoke go for ceramic hob.

no hard getting the best hood if budget not an issue

if wanna do more research on other brands
1) check what filter design they are using
2) how ez to install the filter
3) how much it cost
4) dont rely too much on suction power in catalog, recycle hood is more in filtration rather high suction. higher suction = more wind disturbance and poor filtration

if u jus google or read around the forum, no need hood is sales talk to trick ppl to buy only...

when there is heat, there is smoke. Try ask them to write black and white on receipt, if got smoke while cooking, full refund cash

question: is it better than gas in terms of cost (electric vs gas purchase) and, if go with induction, should go full induction or induction + ceramic
