more durable lo. As this is inner flame, the glass is nearer to the flame that is why previously they used schott ceran ceramic glass as it could withstand higher temperature (more durable).

This is similar to electric hobs, heating element directly heating up the glass, that is why electric hobs must use ceramic glass like schott ceran, cannot use normal tempered glass.

Just my suggestion, I always think customers choose Rinnai because it is made in japan and they trust the quality, so RB-2CG is a better choice. If you are getting Rinnai because you wan something of better quality, then u should get RB-2CG.

That means that the cheaper RB-2GI using a non ceramic glass which prone for breakage? Since cast iron is good, why the more expensive 2CG is using stainless steel instead?

both using cast iron kuari stand.

erm...no record shows that RB-2GI prone for easier breakage.

these two models target different group of customer.

For rinnai, forumer like Xam-Max, and iamsobloodysick can give you good price, depending what model they stock, where your location is also important.

If you in subang, try JF Home at USJ 9. He don't do online or forum a conventional shop but give good service too.

anyone bought from them?
my budget is about 2.5k for ducted hood double burner hob. donno which rinnai can accommodate such price.

Hard to tell because it depends on your preference and the package/model you choose.

Expert,

need your advice.
Which one to choose in terms of durability and quality?
Rubine or Elba?
Both have the same 8 function and capacity of 70L.
But Elba is cheaper biggrin.gif
