besides, i have a couple of detolf at home. placed them at corners. it wobbles but not too bad.. but they are not suitable for lego displaying. small sets, yes. bigger ones, it'll be a hassle moving them in and out (for play etc.)

billy bookcase, i thought there are the deeper ones? those should be able to hold large baseplates.. no?

But be aware the Detolf cannot fit modulars like Town hall or Fire Brigade because the the spacing between shelves cannot be adjusted. Even the Grand Emporium won't fit into Detolf unless you remove the roof bill board sign.
Billy bookcase shelf is will not fit any modulars also as the baseplate depth required is more then 20cm.  I use Besta for its 40cm depth so it can even fit a large grey base plate.

Glass doors and lighting is available but optional.

Actually i have a question on storage of lego boxes. How to you store them? Opened ones I stack them up like wallpaper. The windows are never opened. But somehow the smell of boxes fills up the entire room. I have tried using those tasty hyppo type stuff to absorb the moisture but the same smell still ada.

Any ideas?

A little misfortune during these rainy days.  Hope you guys can help out.  Great sets for those who just want to build.

I feel that the price is a bit high for the badly damaged box. They need to reduced the price more in order to sell faster.

Hi everyone, i'm new in this thread.

I start buying Lego last year (starting from Shell Ferrari set) and quickly get addicted. I had Lego when I was a kid, but that was ages ago. After the Shell set, I bought a few Creator house sets and then it get worse. I bought 10197, and start looking for more modular. Then I bought 10211. I thought I want to stop collecting modular, and buy smaller Creator house. I bought Tree House and Seaside House, but both can't give the same satisfaction as modulars. So, I bought 10218 knowing they are next in line to be discontinued.

I have a problem to display my collection without collection dust. My room got no air-cond. You guys have any suggestion? Is IKEA glass display a good option?

i put my lego set in a book shelf cabinet only..

and some of it ziploc and put in storage box..coz no place to display..
