That is correct.  Anyway had a chit chat session with BBT boss while he was signing checks.  The sale will end on 31st. Dec.

These would be the last of the 2013 stocks.

Good News! The first wave of ALL 2014 sets will be in by 2nd week of Jan.  Sets will include Duplo, City sets, Friends, , Hobbit, Star Wars, Technic, Ninjago, Hero Factory and Chima.  Full range of 2014 Lego Movie Sets and Star Wars Micro Fighters are also included in this wave.

Bad news! With the new supplier (undisclosed), BBT members can only get 5% of 2014 sets SRP.  Current 2013 stocked sets 10% members still apply.

On a lighter side, while sitting at the sofa at BBT, you will know when you meet a son of a tycoon.  Trying to call for his wallet ... aka dad.

QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Dec 30 2013, 12:18 PM)
Hi all,

Let's have a break from all the sales and other talk for a moment tongue.gif. I'm currently trying to organize a gathering for LYN Lego Enthusiast thread forum members to watch Lego Movie set to be released on 6th February. Please note though that the release date is during Chinese New Year and some of you might be away. Also, an apology to all outside of KL as I can only organize it in one location (unless you want to travel down to KL).

I know there's an on-going discussion as well at BOM regarding the outing but I'm catering more to the forum members here which I think are more closely knitted. Long story short, here's a short summary:

Date: 6th February 2014, Thursday
Time: TBD (most probably evening after office hours. We can have dinner together if possible)
Location: Mid Valley GSC (easy access of public transport and middle ground for everyone I believe)
Ticket Price: To be confirmed. Will be going for 3D (if available) for more fun experience.

If you are interested, kindly fill up the form below (all information are kept confidential):

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/11QoZN9rsvn...ni1umA/viewform

Dateline to fill up the form is 15 January 2014 for me to consolidate all responses. I will then try to book and obtain the tickets for everyone (family members invited of course). As I'm still new in organizing gathering such as this, please PM me if you have questions and I will try to response in a timely manner.

Have fun and enjoy your day!

p/s: You can bring your own minifigure along as wellMr. Alby, Ultraman the great
pp/s: If the response is low, we can continue joining the one in BOM

i'm very interest with this and mid valley is fine with me, i'm never seen 3D movie before biggrin.gif

Yup! It's for you! You were very lucky because there wasn't any on the shelves. I asked the ALJ staff and she went up to check for me. I walked to TRU to get some pressies wrapped and when I returned she had already brought down the few remaining sets of 42005 and 42007, and have already picked the best box and set it aside for me. thumbup.gif Benefited a few other AFOLs too as they quickly grab them! rclxms.gif

They must have meant bleach - hydrogen peroxide. Same stuff you use for your clothes.

so it's the bleach to clean the yellowish? will it damage the lego?

BTW, another addition to my Lego Technic rclxm9.gif 42005 and some remote control parts brows.gif

Hi everyone, i'm new in this thread.

I start buying Lego last year (starting from Shell Ferrari set) and quickly get addicted. I had Lego when I was a kid, but that was ages ago. After the Shell set, I bought a few Creator house sets and then it get worse. I bought 10197, and start looking for more modular. Then I bought 10211. I thought I want to stop collecting modular, and buy smaller Creator house. I bought Tree House and Seaside House, but both can't give the same satisfaction as modulars. So, I bought 10218 knowing they are next in line to be discontinued.

I have a problem to display my collection without collection dust. My room got no air-cond. You guys have any suggestion? Is IKEA glass display a good option?
*
welcome biggrin.gif

i put my lego set in a book shelf cabinet only..

and some of it ziploc and put in storage box..coz no place to display..
*

QUOTE(Ultraman the great @ Jan 7 2014, 02:39 PM)
Actually i have a question on storage of lego boxes. How to you store them? Opened ones I stack them up like wallpaper. The windows are never opened. But somehow the smell of boxes fills up the entire room. I have tried using those tasty hyppo type stuff to absorb the moisture but the same smell still ada.

Any ideas?
*
i'm just open my boxes and flat it, all keep inside my mobile crane MKII biggrin.gif that's more than enough space inside laugh.gif

But be aware the Detolf cannot fit modulars like Town hall or Fire Brigade because the the spacing between shelves cannot be adjusted. Even the Grand Emporium won't fit into Detolf unless you remove the roof bill board sign.
Billy bookcase shelf is will not fit any modulars also as the baseplate depth required is more then 20cm.  I use Besta for its 40cm depth so it can even fit a large grey base plate.

Glass doors and lighting is available but optional.

Hi all,

Based on the few feedback I got regarding the Lego Movie gathering date, I realized most will be away for the whole week during CNY and won't be able to make it for the gathering.

As such, I've decided to change the date to 16th February, Sunday afternoon/late afternoon instead. It's after the 15 days of CNY and I know the next day is a school day hence will try to book for an afternoon movie instead of night. Location will remain the same and ticket price is to be confirmed still. Let me know if this is a more preferred date and if you're interested, please do fill up the form below:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/11QoZN9rsvn...ni1umA/viewform

Thanks guys and girls!!
