QUOTE(chew_loong @ Dec 27 2013, 02:50 PM) Go BV2 first, walk in 1 min 25 secs you will know what you want got or not (free parking 15 mins). Then go BBT, can stay longer go Isetan Toy Fair Corner and TRU MV. Still got 30% on some sets. May get lucky. thanks for the tip! I memang know what to get and will touch n go only...if they hv free 15 mins parking, it is GOOD NEWS to me nothing in TRU MV fancy me except the sorter but they r priced at RM129, so expensive! yet to go Isetan Gardens, what they hv over there? otherwise can i also do the same like BV2, touch n go within 15 mins n get free parking? |

QUOTE(chew_loong @ Dec 27 2013, 03:02 PM) Normally I take parking ticket. You get 15 mins I know because I I validate, machine will tell me please exit within 15 mins. So take ticket, 10 mins go then validate if need more time. Remember park at BV you need to validate on BV machine. BV2 machine will not recognize BV parking tickets and vice Versa. normally i park at the BV parking which is under the food court one... cus there easier to get parking and dun hv to turn n turn....Not like gardens or MV. Park anywhere any machines can validate. so over there oso got same structure of grace period of 15 mins? if Isetan series is just as normal what v see in BV2 & AK then i can forget abt it, unless I have voucher to utilise it... |

QUOTE(chew_loong @ Dec 28 2013, 10:31 PM) Only recently got back into it .. from chiildhood days when SG$ and RM was 1:1. Imagine how many eons was that. Anyway technically only got back to it since July 2013. POTC has long been gone since and I suppose many sets before. That's why don't plan to go into Star Wars. To many sets in the series and goes too far back to the 90s. Wah. U hv acquired 109 sets pass 6 mths!! Salute! Anyway, latest collection count after all the sales and clearance. ![]() Building a mini legoland at ur home? Hehe... |

QUOTE(zoomckng @ Dec 29 2013, 08:40 AM) maybe the camping gang from AV will go there If same trend as the empire sales most likely there will not b any new stock but to clear those existing on the shelves. They wouldn't want to unpack n repack again at the end of the salesday. stocks has not been moving since many days. good for them to go some of it wan see new stocks already. tired of same old stuff Unless their marketing team suddenly become "smart" n bring out some "reserve for last day" sales stock to boost the sales b4 they close for the year. Otherwise they will b just the same old stock. That's how alj been reacting all this while. Wonder how the marketing team strategise all these sales. My experience with hasbro warehouse sales so far it's much better than lego. I went 1st n last day but still managed to get many Kre O. mb its not as popular as lego. At least they dun disappointed early birds. Those who reach early sure can grab the thing they want. The price is automatically 50% off. Even mattel warehouse sales also not bad as they willing to reduce the price further on last day of sales to clear up all the stock. Altho not much stock left on the last day but at least they slash the price to encourage the sales.. I think the marketing strategy is good. Can help clear off unpopular stock. |

Builds character, expression of imagination, improves hand eye coordination and motor skills. Yrs. I ageed! with kiddos u wil hv better excuse to buy more lego!! When kids concentrate in building bricks they will stay away from gadgets!! |

QUOTE(ilfort @ Dec 31 2013, 04:39 PM) Yes. Aft discount still cost rm69 for the books plus few pieces of bricks. However it can keep the kiddo busy for few hrs a day & consecutively for many days (at least work with my boy) then it can justify the price. Also the bill will be use for tax exemption so I rock 2 birds. I lost count how long he never ask for any gadget from us lol. |
